CALLING ALL CARERS!
Why not come along and become part of our seasonal celebrations on the 9th December at the world famous 'Crooked Spire?'
This Derbyshire Carers' special event (to be held from 12 at Saint Mary and All Saints Church, Church Way, Chesterfield, S40 1XJ) will offer you the golden opportunity to meet with other carers from across the county, both old friends and new, in a relaxed and informal setting. It will also give you the chance to meet representatives from a variety of agencies including DCA staff, who will be there to provide information, support and advice.
All carers (including younger carers) are invited to attend this event which will include a Christmas service led by the Revd. Patrick Coleman and attended by the Lord and Lady Mayoress of Chesterfield, together with other local dignitaries.
The free event will be in two parts: A short introduction, allowing us to report to you, our carers, what the Association has achieved this year, both locally and nationally. Afterwards, Revd.Coleman will conduct the service which will include a choir singing carols and poetry readings, followed by other fun activities. Refreshments, including mince pies, will be provided, along with the opportunity to mingle informally with your fellow carers.
