Directions: Take I-25 to Exit 257, Loveland exit. Proceed west on US-34 for 1.4 miles. Turn left (south) on Boyd Lake Drive and then right (west) on Mountain Lion Drive. Turn left into the Mountain View High School parking lot. The swimming facility is located at the south end of the parking lot.
FACILITIES: Indoor, 25 yard pool with eight deep water lanes. The water depth measured for a distance of 3 feet 3½ inches (1.0 meter) to 16 feet 5 inches (5.0 meters) is 5 feet at the turn end is 8 feet at the start end. Additional warm-up and warm-down lanes are available. The competition course has been certified in accordance with 104.2.2C(4). The certification is on file with USA Swimming.
TIMING:Colorado Timing System with touch-pads and full matrix LED display.
ELIGIBILITY: Open to any swimmer with a 2017USA Swimming membership. Any swimmer that appears on the Colorado Swimming (CSI) exceptions report without registration must come to the meet prepared to show proof of current membership, or they will be deck registered before they can enter the water. The deck registration fee will include a $25 surcharge plus the current registration fee. Age group will be determined by the swimmer’s age onFebruary 10, 2017. All deck entries must present proof of current registration.
SCORING:Individual events: 20-17-16-15-14-13-12-11-9-7-6-5-4-3-2-1
AWARDS: Individual 12 & UnderRibbons - 1st through 16th place
Individual 10 & UnderRibbons - 1st through 16th place
Individual 8 & UnderRibbons - 1st through 16th place
Swimmers get awards after results for individual events are announced.
HIGH POINT:Top 5 Scoring swimmers in each age group. Points are tracked in the age group in which the event was swum. For example, a 10 year old swimming some events as a 10 & under and some events as a 12 & under score points in both age groups and these points are not added together.
ENTRY FEES:Make one check payable to Loveland Swim Club
•$4.75 for each Individual event. ($.75 of each individual event goes to the CSI Support Fund)
•$8.00 per swimmer facility charge
ENTRIES:
•Swimmers may enter up to 4 Events per Day
•We will let teams know in advance if any positive check-in is needed.
•If Positive check-in is required for any events, a swimmer must check in to be seeded. Failure to check in may result in not being allowed to swim if there are no empty lanes. Check-in and additional entries will close as announced during warm-up for that session. Swimmers will need to bring their own volunteer counter and timer for the distance events.
•12&U Swimmers should earn BB time in short event prior to a 200Y or longer Event.
•The distance events may be seeded alternating girls and boys heats, fastest to slowest. Events may be combined (scored separately) to reduce the number of heats. All 12&U Sessions are planned to fit within four hoursand all sessions may be limited for a reasonable meet length. Teams will be notified in advance of any changes.
ENTRY PROCEDURES:
- Computer entries, prepared using Hy-Tek software. THIS IS THE ENTRY METHOD OF PREFERENCE. This should be emailed. Your team is responsible for the accuracy of the electronic entries. A team manager events file will be on the Loveland Swim Club web site, prior to the meet to assist teams with the entry process.
- Hard copy of your Hy-Tek Data including entries listed by name and Hy-Tek Fees report. This is due with team check by the entry due date.
- Any team entering must enter on HY-TEK or pay a $25 fee.
- A psych sheet will be posted on the Loveland Swim Club web site to the meet to help correct any entry errors. Teams will be given time to send in corrections. A final psych sheet will be posted prior to the meet.
ENTRY DEADLINE:
Entries must be received by our entry chairman by Thursday, January 26, 2017. Entries received after the entry deadline will be processed as deck entries. All mail will be prioritized by date and time received. Do not send entries that require a signature. Entries will be limited to allow a four hour session for the 12 & under swimmers. All entries received after entry deadline may be accepted at the discretion of the Meet Director or Meet Referee at $10.00 per event plus Pool surcharge.

RULES:
- Current USA Swimming Rules will govern the meet in conjunction with the following information from CSI.
- The Meet Referee will have the final authority on all matters related to the meet.
- Colorado Swimming, Inc. procedures for warm-up will be observed. Warm-up Assignments and updated session times will be posted at to the meet.
- At a sanctioned competitive event, USA Swimming athlete members must be under the supervision of a USA Swimming member-coach during warm-up, competition, and warm-down. The Meet Director or Meet Referee may assist the swimmer in making arrangements for such supervision, but it is the swimmer’s responsibility to make such arrangements prior to the start of the meet.
- The use of audio or visual recording devices, including a cell phone, is not permitted in changing areas, rest rooms, or locker rooms.
- Deck changing is prohibited
- Any swimmer entered in the meet must be certified by a USA Swimming member-coach as being proficient in performing a racing start or must start each race from within the water. When unaccompanied by a member-coach, it is the responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer’s legal guardian to ensure compliance with this requirement.
- No on deck photography from behind the starting platforms.
- Operation of a drone, or any other flying apparatus, is prohibited over the venue (pools, athlete/coach areas, spectator areas and open ceiling locker rooms) any time athletes, coaches, officials and/or spectators are present.
- The pool deck is reserved for athletes, coaches, officials, and volunteers.
- Positive sportsman-like conduct will be expected.
- Coaches and parents will be responsible for the behavior and safety of their swimmers and their families.
- Any damage to the pool property will be grounds for dismissal from the remainder of the meet and the offenders will be held liable.
COACHES / OFFICIALS:
Only currently certified registered coaches, working officials, and volunteers will be allowed on deck. All coaches and uniformed officials MUST display their USA Swimming cards when on deck.
PROGRAMS:$5.00 each. Coach’s copies are complementary. Final results will be posted as a Hy-Tek file on the Loveland Swim Club web site,

Priority on entry for teams will be given to teams that enter a full complement of sessions. Teams that entered the meet last year will be given preference on entry acceptance for the current year
