Main Job Purpose
To work with business leads to identify and deliver ERP (IFS) capabilities that support/enable efficient business processes, and functionality the users need to perform their duties and the like. Identify user requirements for systems based on existing and projected operational procedures and practices. Translate requirements into functional specifications. Ensure the final system functionality meets the user requirements. Provide user support for the resulting applications.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic
Assist management with:
- Defining ERP Strategy
- Desiging and implementing ERP Release Management processes
- Developing and maintaining ERP Strategy Deliver Plan
- Monitoring and reporting progress of ERP Strategy Deliver Plan
- Escalating strategic ERP decisions to IFS Support Group
- Promoting and enforcing ERP Change Management processes
- Cascade IFS Support Group decisions to user community
- Chair IFS User Group
- Communicate user feedback to IFS Support Group
- Manage relationship between IT and IFS User Group
- Liaise with technical resources (IT, IFS and other 3rd parties)
- Liaise with QA on IFS quality and validation issues
- Strategy – Assist with defining and employing change management processes (requirements definition, approval and delivery)
- Quality Assurance – Assist with defining and applying quality standards
- Development – Create functional and technical requirement specifications, and work with manager to agree on development activities.
- Training – Ensure available tools/skills match BPL's information requirements; identify and arrange appropriate skills training
- Support – Provide expert advice and support to Business Area Specialists and promote communication and collaborative working between them
- Knowledge Base – Provide advice and guidance about business data, (where it is held and how it relates etc) and tools (IFS screen management, Quick Reports, SQL, Crystal, iPrint, Business Analytics etc)
- Process – Define a robust process for information Service Requests
- Development – development and maintain IALs and more complex information requirements
- Coordinate ERP security/audit/QA strategies
- Coordinate upgrade delivery and patch management
- Oversee release process from analysis, through validation to live promotion
- Monitor ERP capacity and performance
- Monitor and report on ERP support performance
Qualifications/Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, biological science, computer science, management information systems, or related field.
- Five plus years of experience with IFS software, especially supply chain, inventory, and financials is highly desired.
- Technical knowledge of reporting tools/SQL
- Ability to manage multiple requests in a result oriented organization.
- Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to lead and execute activities without a lot of supervision, which includes holding others accountable for actions and results.
- Displays a positive and professional demeanor, especially in stressful and fast paced environments.
- Highly organized with the ability to keep others in remote locations on track to achieve results.
- Experience in small to medium project management is a plus.
- Excellent critical reasoning, decision-making, and problem solving skills to analyze situations, determine risks, and find solutions to prevent future issues and resolve recurring defects.
- Understand regulatory standards, various local, state and federal laws that apply to the business and where to find information on standards and interpretations is a big plus.
- Intermediate to strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
