UNFINISHED BUSINESS

Review and Discussion of Application

The Committee reviewed and discussed the revisions to the application. Ms. Cornwell made a motion to approve the minutes with corrections, seconded by Ms. Collison. The motion was unanimously carried.

NEW BUSINESS

Schedule Committee meetings for 2007

The Committee agreed to hold their meetings on the following dates for 2007.

January 17, 2007

April 18, 2007

July 11, 2007

October 17, 2007

Other Business Before the Committee (for discussion only)

Ms. Trotter requested to have the renewal period adjusted to coincide with their National organization. The Committee would like to have their certifications expire on May 31, 2007 for the current certification period with future certifications beginning on June 1, 2007 with an expiration date of May 31, 2009. Because the certification would be adjusted to a shorter period of time than the normal two year time frame licensees would only be required to submit 25 continuing education credits instead of the standard 30 continuing education credits. Ms. Warren will determine how this will affect the Division and explain her findings at the October 18, 2006 Committee meeting.

The Committee discussed legislation that would change their certification to licensure.
