Exciting news!!!

As you may already know, the 2011 Daphne du Maurier Festival, and all future festivals will be run by a new committee, made up of members of Fowey Town Council and Fowey Chamber of Commerce.

The Festival has received a much reduced grant from Cornwall Council for the 2011 Festival, which will be further reduced each year, until 2014 when it will receive no funding from the authority.

To help us secure the future of the Festival, we will need to raise money in many different ways. This year, we are introducing a Business Sponsorship scheme. This is aimed at local and national businesses, with a range of packages available starting from as little as £200.

Some of you will have already sponsored the Festival in previous years and we are grateful for that support. We now need to bring in new businesses to join those who have helped us in the past. So, please pass this information on to any other businesses you deal with.

GOLD BUSINESS SPONSORSHIP (£1,500)

Benefits:

  • Accreditation, with logo, on Festival website (including link to business’ own website) and at the Festival Village.
  • 8 complimentary tickets for any Festival Village daytime or evening event, or Town Hall daytime event.
  • Invitation to sponsors’ drinks reception on evening before Festival begins.

SILVER BUSINESS SPONSORSHIP (£750)

Benefits:

  • Accreditation, with logo, on Festival website (including link to business’ own website) and at the Festival Village.
  • 6 complimentary tickets for any Festival Village daytime or evening event, or Town Hall daytime event.
