Provost Award for Excellence in Honors Teaching and Service
The Provost Award for Excellence is presented each year to faculty and staff who have made extraordinary contributions to the University in a variety of areas. These include, but are not limited to, curriculum development, advising, external programs and research, community service, assessment of student learning, international experiences, ethical and moral development, and citizenship.
The success of the Honors College depends critically upon its ability to attract the university’s best faculty into the College’s activities. The Provost Award for Excellence in Honors Teaching and Advising will be given annually to a faculty member in recognition of outstanding teaching, advising or other service in support of the Honors College. The recipient of this award will receive a $1,000 honorarium and be recognized at a reception hosted by the Provost in March.
Eligible candidates must be current faculty (tenured, tenure-eligible, AP, or RTA) who have not have received this award during the last five years.

Please share the following information (if applicable):

List all courses taught for the Honors College. These may include general education courses, honors seminars, honors seminars abroad or honors options.

List all honors capstone projects which you have advised or served as a committee member.

List years that you served as an Honors Faculty Liaison.

List years that you served as an Honors Faculty Fellow.
