CSBM Diagnostic: Analysing Team Effectiveness

CSBM diagnostic: Analysing team effectiveness

This survey is designed to gauge team members’ feelings and perceptions about the team’s vision, mission, values, goals, objectives, level of trust, use of individual talents, and so forth.

The results of the survey become a springboard for discussion.

 Choose a team of which you are a member, preferably within the school, e.g. administration team.

 Using your knowledge of the team, complete the following survey, responding to each statement, eg, for question 1, if you agree, but do not totally agree, that the team has a clear purpose, then circle the number 4.

 When you have completed the survey, use the results to inform your thinking about how well the team is working and which areas may need further development.

Bear in mind that this survey is designed to take a snapshot of your chosen team’s current situation as seen through the eyes of team members.
