so previously. She also mentioned including any changes to their

available at the November meeting.
Library -- Judith Stewart reported all of the books in the CRQC library would be
available in the hallway outside the room we were currently in. Members
could bid on any of the books for purchase. There will no longer be a
library.
Mary Beth mentioned that Ricky Timms had an event scheduled at the Ranch in Loveland in October. Susan Rule said there was a scholarship available for a quilter who had been quilting for less than three years. Susan suggested that Marianne Jeffrey would be a good candidate for the scholarship. Susan had applications available for the scholarship and she encouraged anyone who had another candidate in mind to pick up the application form from her.
Bee Keeper –Susan Rule said there was a Quilt Camp monthly where people met to
sew or do hand work. She said if anyone else would like to start a bee
of some kind to let her know.
Mary Beth said she would start an Applique Bee the 2nd Tuesday at her
house, 10:00 to 3:00.
Quilt Show – To be held at the Philip S. Miller Library, October 3, 4, 5, 2014
Debbie Bosler is in charge of demos and so far she only has Judith
Stewart who has volunteered to demo. Debbie would like three more
people to volunteer to demo.
Sue Hodges said there are 71 quilt entries for the show but there is still
time to enter. Deadline to enter is September 6.
Marianne Jeffrey is in charge of Hospitality for the Quilt Show so a
sign up sheet was sent around with needs for snacks, manning the entry
table, and being a white glove person.
Christmas Party – Cathi Allen mentioned that our group was either too big or too
small for many locations. However, the hospital would let us have
it in the two rooms we are currently booking for our meetings.
Cathi said we could either have a pot luck or the hospital chef
cater it for $20pp including tax and tip. Members present voted to
have the meal catered by the hospital.
Next, Cathi asked if we wanted to have a gift exchange. After
discussion about whether to have a $15 gift exchange or to
exchange a charm pack, the members voted to have a charm pack
exchange.
BOM – Carin Carr showed the members the pattern she had for the first month of
Row Of The Month, our theme for this year’s project. Patterns were
available for the “leaf” row.

a.m. Anyone who wants to help or donate flannel is welcome.

Divide, Colorado. Andrea shared her trunk show of quilts from her
grandmother’s era to current quilts she had made.
