Corporation Profile Assignment

Directions: In order to prepare for the stock market game, you need to become familiar with basic information about different corporations and their stocks. For this assignment, you will create a poster presenting important information about a particular corporation. You will analyze this information and then, in a paragraph using different strategies for stock selection, argue why buying stock in this corporation would be or would not be a good investment at this time. Finally, you will prepare a PowerPoint presentation to share your findings with the class.

Almost all of the information you will need can be found on the Google Finance Website. Use the following steps to locate the information about your corporation. Additional information can be found on your company’s OWN website.

Step 1:Open Internet Explorer and go to

Step 2:In the upper right hand corner, click on the icon with nine small squares. Then select

More and click on Finance.

Step 3:Click once in the box at the top and type in your Stock Ticker Symbol. Then click

“Search Finance.”

Most of the information you need can by found on the Google Finance page for your

corporation. However, you will probably be able to find more specific and possibly more

accurate/up-to-date information on your corporation’s own website.
