BAHAMIAN TELEVISION PRODUCER DONATES TIME AND TALENT

TO COASTAL AWARENESS

Kayleaser P. Moss Produces Special on Coastal Awareness

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Bahamians everywhere are joining the effort of promoting the importance of preserving and protecting the Bahamas’ unique coastlines. News Specials and Events Producer for Fox News Channel in New York, Kayleaser P. Moss, recently traveled back to Nassau to produce a program on the important issues affecting our coasts. The 12-minute special entitled “Bahamas Coastal Awareness” will air locally in April as part of the National Coastal Awareness Month campaign.

At the invitation of the Coastal Awareness Committee, a group of stakeholders from the private and public sectors formed to heighten the public’s awareness of preserving our coastlines. Ms. Moss produced the special together with editor Kareem Mortimer of TaylorMade Productions. The trip was also sponsored by JetBlue Airlines, Avis Car Rentals, The Bahamas Hotel Association: Comfort Suites and the Wyndham Nassau Resort.

The “Bahamas Coastal Awareness” program illustrates the problems affecting our coastlines and highlights the need to protect the biodiversity that is unique to the Bahamas, an issue Ms. Moss feels strongly about.

“As a Bahamian, it was very important to me to offer any assistance I can to help promote coastal awareness,” said Kayleaser. “It was a pleasure to produce this program. I hope that as people watch, they gain a greater insight into the incredibly beautiful and precious natural resources of our islands and become part of the effort to preserve what is ours to inherit.”
