Marketing and Communication overall /
  • Contribute to the formulation of the annual marketing and communication strategy of the unit
  • Help implement the unit’s marketing and communications plan interpreting it into timeous marketing actions
  • Gaining an understanding of the precinct’s target audiences and creating compelling reasons for them to visit
  • Ensuring that all communication and information needs are met and,
  • Working proactively to take all opportunities to build relationships , generate interest and demand
  • Help to establish the organization’s profile and position, contributing significantly to the brand visual identity and tone of voice through the production of content
  • Contributing towards a team approach in maximizing the success of marketing strategies and plans towards driving footfall and revenue for the site
  • Specific projects and/or work programmes and performance standards will be developed from the annual Business Plan, discussed with the employee and set annually.
  • Accountable for achieving the KPIs set out in the Business Plan

Marketing /
  • Assist in the preparation and implement an annual marketing plan, including annual budget; in line with the short/medium term year marketing strategy
  • Assist in organising and analysing market research and surveys, and generate reports on potential new services, clients and competitors.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing advertising campaigns to attract customers
  • Liaise with service providers to ensure cost effective placement of organizational ad content
  • Monitor the execution of ad campaigns by external contracted agencies and ensure post activity reports thereon.
  • Maximise opportunities to collect usable data from various platforms eg. at exhibitions, tours etc
  • Ensure the completion of lead generation forms at exhibitions towards sales generation.
  • Manage photography and film libraries, ensuring that they meet marketing needs
  • Monitor stock levels of all marketing and communication material

PR /
  • Drive positive coverage and exposure of the organisation
  • Deal with PR enquiries to maximize opportunities and,
  • Develop relationships with the media and related agencies
  • Organise press visits and launch events
  • Write and issue press releases, speeches and related publicity material
  • Monitor and report on coverage
  • Produce written content for a range of materials and media (brochures, newsletters, pamphlets, etc)
  • Attend exhibitions as required
  • Assist in developing print and display collateral for exhibitions
  • Assist in the production of stakeholder and in-house electronic newsletters
  • Assist in the production of a range of materials including; leaflets, posters, publications, signage, etc. working with the contracted designer

Digital, email and social media /
  • Help maintain websites in order to ensure maximum use and updated content
  • Assist in the production of effective promotional emails and e-newsletters
  • Help manage social media channels, ensuring fresh and engaging content
  • Contribute to the top-level and detailed design of the website (or e-newsletter, etc.), with a particular focus on the ways in which the goals for the site and the needs of users can be met through the provision of appropriate content.
  • Contribute to the process of information design, to ensure that content is appropriately structured to meet the goals for the site and the needs of users.
  • Assist in the implement social media strategy to grow followers and promote the destination.
  • Help utilize social media efforts to compliment overall marketing campaign and online efforts.
  • Assist in managing all social media and interactive applications developed as part of the Online Strategy

Content

Creation

/
  • Prepare textual content (including feature articles, advertising copy, database content, FAQs, etc.).
  • Prepare textual content for e-newsletters.
  • Design forms.
  • Prepare textual content for distribution as SMS messages.
  • Edit copy received from additional content contributors.
  • Clear copyright for the use of any existing content.
  • Ensure copy style/tone of voice guidelines are adhered to and maintained
  • Ensures that content is consistent with the destination marketing campaign and refreshes content to ensure accuracy and timeliness of information and images.

Database Management

/
  • Develop, update and manage database-Maintain the overall integrity and quality of the ConHill databases, including regular data improvement and hygiene, enforcement of database business processes and management of code values, business rules and other set-up functions of the databases.
  • Standardise data entry and development of reports and data exports to meet the needs of the organisation.
  • Produce effective direct mail pieces and organize campaigns to relevant databases

Financial Leadership /
  • Assist in administering and monitoring marketing and communications budget

Stakeholder Relationship Management /
  • Assist in managing ConHill events (both internal and external) and conferences including the selection of venues and/or facilities, development of guest lists, registration processes, catering, branding and displays, and audio-visual equipment, developing information packs, media briefs, printing of material security, service providers, contract and suppliers. Events may include: Exhibitions and fairs; conference, promotions and product launches, fundraising and social events.

  • Undertake and manage other projects as directed by the Senior Manager from time to time in consultation with the employee
  • Assist from time to time in all tasks including assisting in the VIC’s, answering incoming phone calls, and general administration as required.
