EASE VFO Ordering Options—LSR
Overview
/ Once you have initiated an LSR in EASE VFO, some order types offer certain ordering options to assist you with initiating and submitting your order.
Ordering Options
/ The ordering options for certain order types are available from the External App Data sub-menu of the Order tab once you have initiated your order—See Exhibit 1 below.
Following are the available options from the External App Data sub-menu of the Order tab.

·  Available Pics
·  Existing Service

Available Services
/ Selecting S&E codes for your order is executed within EASE after you have initiated a Local Service Request (LSR). The Available Services ordering option shows you what S&E codes are available for the type of order and the region. The Available Services ordering option is available for the following request types:
EB = Resale
KB = Resale Private Line
NB = DID/DOD/PBX
PB = Centrex Resale
QB = ISDN
Take the following steps to add S&E codes to your order in EASE VFO.
Step / Action
1 / Once you have initiated the order, click the Save ICON in the upper right hand corner.
Note: You must save the order before selecting the Available Services menu option to ensure the correct data is returned specifically for your order type.

2 / Select External App Data from the Order tab drop-down menu and then Available Services from the External App Data sub-menu.

Result: The Available Services Look Up window appears.

3 / Select the appropriate SE code from the SAE EXT column, highlight, and copy (Ctrl+C) and paste into the PON (Ctrl+V) on the appropriate form.
Note: All of the fields at the top of the Available Services Look Up screen will be pre-populated based on how you initiated your LSR.
4 / Continue to copy and past S&E codes into the proper form on your LSR until you are done and then X out of the Available Services Look Up window.
TN Assignment
TN Assignment
/ Telephone Number Assignment is executed within EASE after you have initiated a Local Service Request (LSR) for new service. The TN Assignment ordering option is available for the following request types:
EB = Resale
KB = Resale Private Line
NB = DID/DOD/PBX
PB = Centrex Resale
QB = ISDN
Take the following steps to assign a telephone number in EASE VFO.
Step / Action
1 / Once you have initiated the order, click the Save ICON in the upper right hand corner.
Note: You must save the order before selecting the TN Assignment menu option to ensure the correct data is returned specifically for your order type.

Result: The Search for Available TNs from VND window appears.

3 / Populate the following fields and click on the search button to retrieve telephone numbers that meet your criteria:
·  TN Type – Select REG, DID, CNTX, etc
·  Quantity – Select the number of telephone numbers you want
·  Approach – Select Consecutive or Random
·  NPA/NXX – Select the appropriate NPA/NXX
·  Line – Select a specific line number (not required)
Note: The CC, EXCH, STATE, TOS, and End User Name fields will pre-populate.
4 / Click the Search button.
Result: The system will return a list of valid telephone numbers based on the criteria selected and tell you how long you have to select them..

5 / Select a telephone number for reservation by clicking the box next to the number and click Finish.
Result: Once reserved, you will receive the message “Please copy this Telephone Number to the related PON in VFO and close this window. You have selected Telephone Number – xxx xxx-xxxx successfully.”
Note: The Telephone number will be returned to the available pool of numbers if it is not used on a PON within 1 day.
6 / Continue initiating your order and validate and submit when ready. You have successfully assigned telephone number(s) to your PON!

Available PICs
/ Selecting PIC codes for your order is executed within EASE after you have initiated a Local Service Request (LSR). The Available Pics ordering option shows you what PIC codes are available for the region. The Available Pics ordering option is available for the following request types:
EB = Resale
KB = Resale Private Line
NB = DID/DOD/PBX
PB = Centrex Resale
QB = ISDN
Take the following steps to add PIC codes to your order in EASE VFO.
Step / Action
1 / Once you have initiated the order, click the Save ICON in the upper right hand corner.
Note: You must save the order before selecting the Available Pics menu option to ensure the correct data is returned specifically for your order type.

2 / Select External App Data from the Order tab drop-down menu and then Available Pics from the External App Data sub-menu.

Result: The Available PICs Look Up window appears.

3 / Select the appropriate PIC code from the IXC_CD column, highlight, and copy (Ctrl+C) and paste into the PIC and LPIC fields.
Note: All of the fields at the top of the Available Pics Look Up screen will be pre-populated based on how you initiated your LSR.
4 / Once you are done copying and pasting your PICs, X out of the Available Pics Look Up window.
Existing Services
Existing Services
/ Looking up existing services for a particular telephone number for your order is executed within EASE after you have initiated a Local Service Request (LSR) for a convert or a move. The Existing Service ordering option shows you what services are currently attached to the telephone number. The Existing Service ordering option is available for the following request types depending on the order activity:
EB = Resale
KB = Resale Private Line
NB = DID/DOD/PBX
PB = Centrex Resale
QB = ISDN
Take the following steps look at existing services associated with the telephone number on your order in EASE VFO.
Step / Action
1 / Once you have initiated the order, click the Save ICON in the upper right hand corner.
Note: You must save the order before selecting the Existing Service menu option to ensure the correct data is returned specifically for your order type and telephone number.

3 / Once the Entered TNS Values window appears select the box next to the number for which you want to view the existing services and click the Submit button.
Result: The Existing Services Look Up window appears.

4 / Select the S&E codes you want for your order from the S&E (EXT) column, highlight, and copy (Ctrl+C) and paste into the appropriate fields on your order.
Note: All of the fields at the top of the Existing Services Look Up screen will be pre-populated based on how you initiated your LSR.
5 / Once you are done copying and pasting your S&E codes, either click the Back link to view existing services for another number or X out of the Existing Services Look Up window.
