Objectives:

At the conclusion of this presentation, participants will be able to: 1) discuss how transcranial magnetic stimulation can be used to probe the functional status of cortical circuits in healthy subjects; 2) increase their understanding of patients under various behavioral and pharmacological conditions; and 3) describe the concept of motor cortex involvement in non-motor aspects of behavior.

At the conclusion of this presentation, participants will be able to: 1) explore gender as it is lived now in the wake of 75 years of feminist critique and what is now almost 25 years of queer theory; 2) discuss the viability of GID as a diagnosis that can be ethically sustained; and 3) recognize new treatment modes for children who live with cross-gendered identifications.

From Points North, South or West:
From Interstate 95, take Interstate 195 East to Exit 4. Keep right on the ramp to Veterans Memorial Parkway. Continue 2.5 miles. Bradley Hospital is on the right at the traffic light.

From Points East:
Take I-195 to Exit 6 (Broadway). Take a left (south) onto Broadway. Turn left at end of the road; continue on Veterans Memorial Parkway to first traffic light. Turn right onto Bradley Hospital campus.
