HORSES

RING 1 - Working Hunters – Entry fee £10Start time9am prompt

Class 1 - Nursery Working Hunter –70cm -for horses exceeding 15hh, Horse and Rider combination never to have won a Working Hunter Class at this height or below.

Class 2 - Novice Working Hunter – 85cm - For horses exceeding 15hh, Horse and rider combination never to have won a working Hunter class at this height or below more than twice before.

Class 3 - Open Working Hunter – 95cm – For horses exceeding 15hh.

WORKING HUNTER CHAMPIONSHIP (1st and 2nd in all classes all Working Hunters qualify for this championship)

RING 2 - Ridden Classes – Entry fee £8 – start time 12noon approx. (not before)

Class 4 -Ridden 4/5yo – Open to any variety of horse exceeding 14.2hh.

Class 5 - Ridden Veteran Horse (Horses must be 15 years or over).

Class 6 - Riding Horse under Saddle - 14.2hh or over. Prize for the best ROR is this class.

Class 7 - Ridden Cob

Class 8 - Ridden Hunter (this may split, please state height of horse when entering)

RIDDEN CHAMPIONSHIP (For all 1st and 2nds in classes 4-8)

SUPREME CHAMPIONSHIP(held in the main arena)

PONIES

To start at 12-12.30pm APPROX (Not before)

RING 1 - Working Hunters Pony– Entry fee £8

Class 9 - Tiny Tots Working Hunter Pony – Cross Poles 45cm max – On or Off the Lead Rein. Riders must be under 12 years.

Class 10–Nursery Working Hunter pony 15hh & under– fences approx. 55cm (Combination never to have won more than two WHP at this height or above)

Class 11–Novice Working Hunter Pony 15hhunder– fences approx. 70cm (Combination never to have won more than two WHP at this height or above)

Class 12 – OpenWorking Hunter Pony 15hh & under– fences approx. 85cm.

WORKING HUNTER PONY CHAMPIONSHIP – Champion and Reserve qualify for Supreme Championship

Ring 2 - Ridden Ponies– Classes £6 Start time approx. 9am(Prompt)

Class 13 - Ridden Pony – 15hh & Under, Please state height when entering as this class may split.

Class 14 - Ridden Mountain & Moorland – please state small or large breed when entering as this class may split.

Class 15 -Lead Rein Pony - 13hh and Under

Class 16 - Best Pony Club Pony – This will be judged on a short show, Jumping 3 fences of different types (approx. 65cm) and bending through some poles.

RIDDEN CHAMPIONSHIP– Champion & Reserve qualify for Supreme Championship

SUPREMECHAMPIONSHIP (Main Arena)

Rules

• A horse/pony may not be shared in any class
• No horse/pony will be ridden by the judge in any class
• Rosettes will be awarded 1st to 6th in every class
• An Up to date riding hat must be worn at all times when mounted.
• Dogs must be kept in vehicles at all times
• Horses must not be left tied to trailers / Lorries unattended at ANYTIME.
• Competitors must park as instructed.
• All Ridden ponies and horses must be 4 years or over
• Objections must be lodged in writing with the secretary, accompanied by a deposit of £5.
• By entering a class at this show you agreeing to abide by the rules.
