2015 Speaker Proposal Rubric

On the following pages, you will find a rubric to assist you in the process of evaluating each speaker who has submitted a proposal to speak for ICF Washington State, either in-person or via teleseminar. This offers the committee a place from which to begin our examination of each application based on interest, ability to connect this information with competencies to complete the coach training requirement, the ability of the presenter to “edu-tain” as well as challenge the thinking of members of our community, and present relevant and/or cutting edge information.

This is a way to organize your thinking around each speaker based on what he/she offers in the proposal. It serves as a launching pad for our discussion of how well each one meets the criteria we have established.

*Objectives: Professional Learning for Coach Community and allied partners by expanding knowledge, interpretation and value of ICF coaching competencies and the Board’s stated vision: to support coaches in having a sustainable coaching practice and serving their clients well.

Please complete one score sheet per speaker, per event type (in person or teleseminar) – please note that some speakers have submitted proposals for both venues, some with the same presentation title and some with different titles for each event type. Also, some speakers have had their assistants prepare the information, creating two names associated with one proposal in some cases.

Then, rank order the speakers from the ones you are most interested in having present to the ones you are least interested in having present. This will guide our discussion and our choice of speakers to fill our slots for 2015.
