Scholarships
Broomfield Blitz does offer scholarships for eligible players. There are requirements that must be met and approved by the board before your child(ren) can be approved for a scholarship. We do have a limited number of scholarships that we can provide each year.
Qualifications for scholarships are free/reduce lunch, public assistants and or unexpected financial difficulties. For all of these hardships proof will need to be given to the board.
Please email Rick Hill with your qualifying documentation. Once your documentation has been received the board will vote on approval or not at the next board meeting we hold. Board meeting are held every month on the 1st Sunday of the month.
Once your child(ren) are approved for a scholarship the parent(s) will need to volunteer hours to work off the total amount due for their registration. For every hour you volunteer it is worth $25. For example if your registration fees are $195 you will need to volunteer 7.8 hours to the Blitz for the full registration costs to be covered. We will not pay you if you volunteer more than the hours needed to pay off for registration.
Anyone doing the volunteer work will need to be at least 18 years of age and pass a background check. Volunteer hours can be at any registration, any events Blitz holds or field watcher at the games on Friday and Saturdays on our home field. If you do not complete your volunteer hours you will need to pay the remaining balance on your account.
All volunteer hours must be complete by 2nd to last regular season game unless approved to volunteer the hours after that fact by the board. If you are not approve to keep volunteering after the 2nd to last regular season game you will need to pay the reminding balance on your child’s account before your child is eligible to play in another game.
Sarah Woods will keep track of all volunteer hours if you have any questions for her once approved please contact her at
