Brittany Gurrieri

Brittany R. Gurrieri is an Assistant District Attorney in the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office. Brittany is currently assigned to the prestigious Street Narcotics and Gang Bureau where she is responsible for investigating and prosecuting cases involving drug possession and sale, as well as violent gang-related felonies. During her tenure as an ADA, Brittany has worked in the District Court Trial Bureau, DWI Trial Bureau, Warrant Rotation, Grand Jury Bureau and County Court Trial Bureau. Brittany has handled over 15 jury trials to verdict, conducted numerous pre-trial hearings and presented more than 50 cases to the grand jury.

Prior to joining the District Attorney’s Office, Brittany received her Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law. While at St. John’s, Brittany was a member of the Polestino Trial Advocacy Institute where she served on the Executive Board as Director of Internal Trial Competitions and competed in national mock trial competitions. Brittany was also a Student Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office through St. John’s Prosecution Clinic.

Brittany attended Towson University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communications and Political Science. As a member of Alpha Omicron Pi Fraternity, she served on the Executive Board as New Member Educator and was a member of the Order of Omega Greek Leadership Honor Society.

Brittany graduated Holy Trinity High School in 2003. During her time at Holy Trinity, Brittany was a member of the Varsity Cheerleading team and Repertory Theatre.

Kameka Dempsey

Kameka M. Dempsey, Vice President Talent Development at BlackRock, is head of strategic design and facilitation for executive leaders at BlackRock and head of executive coaching in the Americas. She partners with business leaders to deliver their business and talent strategy and objectives through off-sites, team/individual development and assessments. Prior to this role, Kameka was responsible for the global design and delivery of BlackRock’s leadership & management development programs. She is specifically responsible for facilitating Managing at BlackRock, Influencing for Results, Driving Performance through Teams, development of new managers and other firmwide programs. In addition, she is part of the Women's Leadership Forum design and implementation team. She also leads the firm’s emerging work on unconscious bias through the Driving Better Decisions program.Kameka is the co-head of Professional Development for the Multicultural Network and is a member of the NYC BlackRock Gives Committee leading the firm’s relationship with Dress for Success Worldwide.

Prior to her role at BlackRock, Kameka was with Goldman Sachs in the Office of Global Leadership & Diversity.Before that, Kameka held a variety of roles in people development. Kameka returned to the private sector from her appointment in the Senior Administration of Yale University where she was also on the teaching staff of the Yale School of Management. Prior to her role at Yale, Kameka designed and delivered executive level educational programs at Duke Corporate Education. Kameka began her career as a business consultant with Accenture, her focus being strategic planning and business process design.

Kameka is a 2012 Women’s Leadership Fellow of the Impact Center’s Women’s Leadership Institute.Kameka holds a Bachelor’s degree from Yale University and Masters of Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.She is a board member of the Phelps Association. She lives in New York City with her two teacup Chihuahuas.

Tom Kiley

Tom is a graduate of Holy Trinity’s Class of 1986. He married Michelle Colwill, class of 1989, and together they have five children.

Tom has spent the last 25 years within the financial services industry, working at Lehman Brothers, Morgan Stanley, Lord Abbett and BlackRock.

He also coaches his daughter’s basketball team, writes music and is a part of several management committees for Saint William the Abbot Parish, in Seaford.

Faith and family are most important to Tom, as he believes these are the cornerstones for any real success in business or life.

Synthia Link

Synthia, (Holy Trinity class of ‘04), is a graduate of Marymount Manhattan College with a BA in musical theatre and acting. She was most recently seen in the original Broadway cast of “Bullets Over Broadway” where she was a swing for 8 different tracks, understudied the lead role of “Ellen” and “Eden”, and served as Dance Captain for the show. She was also a part of the pre-production team headed by director/choreographer Susan Stroman. Other Broadway credits include the original cast of “Big Fish” where she understudied the role of “Jenny Hill,” and “The Witch” and performed alongside tony winner Norbert Leo Butz. She was seen making her Broadway Debut in “How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying”,where she understudied the leading role of “Rosemary”.

Synthia had the privilege of touring the country on the First National Tour of “Young Frankenstein” where she played the leading role of “Inga”. For 5 years, Synthia danced as a Rockette in the “Radio City Christmas Spectacular” and was the face of the Christmas advertising campaign in 2012 and 2013. She recently performed at the Metropolitan Opera as “Lolo” in the most recent production of “The Merry Widow”. Regional favorites include: Maggie in “A Chorus Line”, Flora in “No No Nanette”, and Tin Tinabula in “…Forum”. Synthia is still very actively pursuing a career on Broadway and currently lives in Manhattan with her husband Keith and their dog Cali.

Joseph Basel

Joseph Basel PE is a Partner in the structural engineering firm of Gilsanz Murray Steficek LLP based in New York City. Joseph is a registered professional engineer with over 24 years of experience working on a wide variety of new and existing buildings including commercial, residential and institutional - from single family homes to high rise buildings. Lately, Joseph has been focused on a number of large scale projects involving the renovation and redevelopment of existing historic buildings in New York City.

Joseph received his Bachelor and Master of Science in Civil Engineering degrees from Manhattan College and is the lead structural mentor for the ACE – Architecture, Construction and Engineering – Mentoring program for high school students currently based at Holy Trinity High School.

Don Fleming

Don Fleming graduated from Holy Trinity High School in 1975 and has since worked towards his own fulfilling career in the Healthcare and IT field. After graduation, Don enrolled at SUNY Farmingdale to receive an Associates in Applied Sciences (AAS) from the Medical Laboratory Technician program in 1977 and transferred to NYIT to receive a Bachelor’s of Science (BS) from the Medical Laboratory Technologist program in 1979.

From December 1979 through September 1980, Don worked as a Laboratory Technologist at Beekman Downtown Hospital in lower Manhattan and advanced to an Assistant Chemistry Supervisor at Lydia E. Hall Hospital in Freeport until November 1984. During his tenure at Lydia E. Hall, the hospital under took the implementation of a Laboratory Information System (LIS) and he was recruited internally as a super-user for the project participating in system design and workflows within the Laboratory setting. From that experience, he found an enthusiasm and an aptitude for this type of work and in December 1984, he joined Shared Medical Systems (SMS), a technology company that provided system solution to the Hospital industry, as an Installation Director in their LIS Division. Don worked for SMS through August 1994 in progressively more challenging and responsible positions including Account Management, Support Management and Marketing and Sales all throughout the Healthcare industry in the greater NY region.

In August 1994, Don moved out of the corporate environment and took a position as the Director of Information Services & Technology at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in Patchogue. During his time at Brookhaven, Don helped implement numerous technology solutions across all facets of the hospitals operations, replacing antiquated technology, manual processes and installing cutting edge solutions to meet the needs of the Hospitals missions and goals. In 2000, he was promoted to Vice President and CIO, taking on additional responsibilities for hospital operations. In June 2012, after 17 years in a single hospital environment, Don joined Northwell Health System (formally, Northshore LIJ Health System), as the Vice President and Regional CIO, where he is currently responsible for all Information and Technology needs for 8 hospitals in the Eastern region.

Don currently resides in Nesconset NY with his wife Patricia and has two daughters, Kaitlin, a Geological Scientist in Harrisburg, PA and Shannon, a Program Director for Amideast, a non-profit study abroad facilitator based in Washington, DC.

Dr. Anthony Policastro

Anthony J Policastro grew up in East Meadow, Long Island and after attending public school, entered Holy Trinity High School in 1972. While at Holy Trinity, Dr. Policastro was a member of the Baseball and Football teams. Graduating in 1976, he continued his education at Villanova University. Majoring in Chemistry at Villanova he graduated in 1980 with honors. Upon graduating from Villanova, Dr. Policastro started working for Pall Corporation, yet his desire to become a physician was very strong. During this time, medical school admissions were at an all time high – baby boomers were applying at staggering rates. In order to fulfill his dream, Dr. Policastro applied to and was accepted at Guadalajara University in Mexico. He moved to Mexico, took all classes and tests in Spanish and was in the top of his class. Shortly after arriving in Mexico, Dr. Policastro was able to transfer out of this foreign school was accepted and accelerated into his third year of medical school, attending Creighton University School of Medicine, located in Omaha, Nebraska. He graduated magna cum laude in 1985. Dr. Policastro started his medical career with a five year residency in surgery, followed by a Critical Care fellowship at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY. From 1991 through 2010, Dr. Policastro was in private practice. Currently he is on staff at Westchester Medical Center as Associate Director of Surgical Critical Care and Clinical Director of Trauma and Surgical Intensive Care Units.

He lives in Plesantville, NY with his wife Barbara Hallahan-Policastro, also a ’76 graduate. They have been together since the Holy Trinity Junior Prom, March of 1975. They have 2 adult children, Gina who is a teacher and Anthony who is in finance.
