Expectations:

  • Must have an all A average
  • If you earned any B’s at the end of last year, you will receive a probation letterand have the first 9 weeks to bring your grades up
  • Behavior- NO section 2-4 offenses; Section 1 offense can result in probationary status.
  • Attendance–Members must attend 8 out of 10 meetings

Service Hours:

  • Service Definition: To be of help or use to someone, not in your immediate or extended family, purely for the act of helping and not for any extrinsic gain.
  • Must have 10 service hours by the end of December and another 10 by the end of school for a total of 20 hours for the year.
  • Forms can be found outside Ms. Ponder and Mrs. Ferrari’sdoors or printed from the school’s Jr. Beta page/under Activities.
  • August/September Service Project: Pur[shoe]ing Joy Shoe Drive- Bring in new or gently used shoes that be donated to needy children and families in Guatemala. Encourage your friends and family members to make donations. We will place collection boxes at the end of each hallway, or you can take them to your sponsor’s room. If you can, rubber band them together before placing them in the box.
