Berty Has Been in School Regularly Listening to the Children Read

Autumn Term ~ 6

Dear Parents/carers

We are having a fantastic term. The children have been involved in so many different activities in school.

It was brilliant to see so many parents supporting our Christmas craft afternoon. So many in fact that we ran out of space!

Berty has been in school regularly listening to the children read.

and making excellent progress in all

their subjects.

Look out for our new website which

will be live next week.

On Thursday 16th November a small group of our children took part in the Gloucester City Primary Schools Cross Country Championships at Beaufort Academy. 33 Primary schools took part with over 1300 children from across the county. Our children did us very proud competing over distances of 800m and 1200m. All of our children completed the race with some great times.

The 2's and 3's have been listening really

well to stories. They had the story of

Peppa pig's dentist trip and they

used toothbrushes to clean the

dinosaur’s teeth.

Pre-school have been talking about

Christmas and are looking forward

to seeing 'Buddy' (our elf on the shelf)

through December.

We had a visit from reverend Jenny who shared a Christmas story with the children.

Attendance

Our whole school target is to have all our children in school 100%.

Top three classes each week are highlighted.

We are so excited to see so many children in school on time. The more time your child spends in school the better their learning will be.

Individual children will receive attendance badges and have a go on the bouncy castle at the end of the whole term if they have achieved outstanding attendance.
