At Gateway / All AWANA workers, leaders, secretaries, directors etc. should attend. child care available
9/13 / 6:00-8:00 / First regular night of club and Registration
We start at 6pm sharp. Be early! / Everyone starts the night in the auditorium (cubbies and puggles excepted). New parent orientation at 6:30pm in the auditorium.
9/20 / Ice cream challenge begins / Each section completed earns an ice cream topping
9/27 / Bring a Friend Night / Extra point and a prize for bringing a friend
10/8 / All day / Annual Leadership Conference / For leaders and parents and LITs. Education and training for ministry. Held at Shadow Mountain Church in El Cajon.
10/11 / Awana Go Kick off / International snacks start of our missions funding
11/1 / End of the 1st quarter / Nachos to Celebrate
11/4 / Team color night / Come dressed in your tea color
11/8 / End of Ice cream challenge / Ice cream contest ends. Ice cream sundaes served. Sections completed determines number of toppings
10/22, 10/29 and 11/5 / 10AM-2PM / Grand Prix Workshops: / Opportunity to build a race car. Tools and guidance available at Gateway
Nov. 12th / 5-9pm / Grand Prix / Best little race in town.
11/15 / Long line night / Bring non-perishable foods for the church pantry to help feed families in need.
11/24 / No club / Thanksgiving week

Jan 3, 2017 / Welcome back / Double bucks for sections
1/10 / Crazy sock night / Prizes for the craziest socks

June 25-July 1 2017 / Southwestern Scholarship Camp / Eligible Clubbers spend a week in Idyllwild with other AWANA clubbers from San Diego County
