Awards Instructions for 2017
The 2017 Awards committee has revised the MDTC Awards flyer to clarify submission for awards. All new title holders are asked to submit an Application for Award Certificate, with a copy of the AKC Title Certificate and an8x10 photo of their dog. We will establish a Wall of Fame in the lobby of the club, and all new title holders will have their photo displayed for the year. A commemorative crate tag will be awarded to each dog earning a new title in 2017.
The Triple Crown Award is for any dog earning titles in at least THREE AKC events is eligiblefor this award. Each application must include an official AKC Awards Record which must be purchased from the AKC website, as well as a photo. TCA award is cumulative over the career of the dog. Once a dog has achieved TCA status, as long as the dog continues to earn titles each year, they remain a TCA recipeient.
The Dog of the Year applications have been updated & standardized for ease of submission. Again, each application must include an official AKC Awards Record which must be purchased from the AKC website, as well as a photo.
The Versatility Dog of the Year application must include at least 3 venue applications (Obedience, Agility, Rally, Conformation) the official AKC Awards Report and a photo.

OWNERS MUST PROVIDE AN 8X10 PHOTO OF THEIR DOG FOR THE AWARD WALL. MDTC WILL NO LONGER PRINT ANY TITLE PHOTOS! The club will provide 8x10 collage photos for Triple Crown Award winners.
