Judge Gail Prudenti left Appellate Court, 2nd Dept., NY and her most extravagant, regal office in New York State (N.Y. Times, 1/25/12), a dysfunctional, no rules, do anything office for the position of Chief Administrative Judge.
Judge Marion McNulty, Judge Kent and others continue their reign of terror in Suffolk County Matrimonial and Family Courts, repeatedly destroying children’s lives. Although Dominic Barbara, Esq. has left the country, he’s been replaced by Sari Friedman, Chaz Cancellare, Thomas Liotti, James O’Rourke, Esq., etc.
Child Protective Services (CPS) and other government Ponzi scheming groups continue to grow under the color of law.
Elected lawyer politicals (both Democrats and Republicans) continue to destroy our country’s economy and disappoint their electorate. Please help us. Continue sending donations and spread the word. Start a group. Don’t vote for lawyers. Judges and lawyers have a moral duty to clean out evil and corruption in the judicial system. All persons wishing to become a judge or lawyer should be required to pass a psychological test to prove their honesty and integrity.

New York requires new lawyers (about 10,000 per year) to do 50 hours of unpaid work as a condition for a license (Newsday 5/6/12).
State legislators pass 40,000 new laws per year, i.e. in New Jersey, pets must have seat belts or drivers face a $1,000 fine.
Does the electorate want the government to pay for birth control, electric cars, healthcare, housing, college, unemployment, solar energy, job training, mortgages, food stamps, pension plans, baby sitters, etc. etc? Proposed Congress Reform by Warren Buffet: “No tenure, no pension, pay social security, no pay raise while there is a deficit, health care same as the American people, equal laws as the public.”
The first governor in U.S. history to defeat recall efforts: Voters in Wisconsin tell unions to get out of the way when Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, a business lawyer, won recall election. A number of voters were bothered by the Union led recall. Others were impressed by Walker’s budget surplus and billion dollar savings. (IBD 6/6/12).
Insiders snatch millions from estates in the scandal-scarred Surrogate Court. If you are a New York lawyer, there’s no sweeter deal than getting assigned to an estate case in Surrogate Court (N.Y. Post 7/29/12). HAS ANYTHING CHANGED?
“In America, there are 1.2 million lawyers, one in every 200 adults is a lawyer. If Congress were representative, there should only be three (3), instead of 213. The Judicial branch is 100% lawyers, the Executive Branch has a lawyer president and vice president and 46% of the Legislative Branch are lawyers. Lawyers are 5% of our population, yet are 82% of government (John Messina, ).
In 2009, the state disciplinary agencies that cover the 1.2 million lawyers received 125,000 complaints according to the American Bar Association, but only 800 of these complaints (.6%), resulted in disbarment.
The UNICEF CEO receives $1,200,000/yr. + a Rolls Royce. The Salvation Army CEO receives $13,000/yr. + housing. The American Legion CEO receives $0. The Disabled American Veterans CEO receives $0.

Total revenues are $200,000 for 500 riders per day/yr. The Town of North Hempstead reimburses seniors one-half the cost of taxi fare, saving hundreds of thousands. (Huntingtonian, 12/11). How do these buses improve the quality of Huntington life??

The National Lawyers Guild (the legal mouthpiece of the Communist Party) along with N.Y.S. Court Judge Lucy Billings, came very close to turning the Occupy Wall Street Mob into a permanent New York fixture. (IBD, 11/17/11).

Regarding Maria Composto Longhi and ex-husband-lawyer David Grossman, Suffolk Supreme Court Matrimonial Judge Jerry Garguilo’s decision dated Sept. 29, 2008 and April 10, 2009, should not have granted that branch of David Grossman’s Motion which was to vacate orders of the Family Court, Suffolk, granting Maria Composto-Longhi a retroactive increase in child support. “A court of coordinate jurisdiction has no authority to rule on a matter already reviewed by another judge of equal authority.” Additionally, the Supreme Court had “no discretion to reduce or cancel ($11,000) arrears of child support which accrue before an appli- cation for downward modification of the child support obligation. (2009-08545 Appellate Division, 2nd Dept.)
Why did Judge Garguilo make such an erroneous decision? Could it have been a favor to husband-lawyer David Grossman? Was it partisanship for his criminal lawyer James O’Rourke? Was he following instructions of Chief Matrimonial Judge Marion McNulty who ordered special referee Jennifer Buetow to reduce lawyer David Grossman’s child support for his handicapped children when he was earning $500,000/yr. to $3,000/mo. from the $4,000 ordered by Family Court, or maybe he just doesn’t know the law?
Of course lawyer David Grossman with his criminal lawyer James O’Rourke will continue to claim poverty as they did back in 2009. This contradicts their recent statements in Judge Collins’ courtroom before his law clerk and legal secretary on July 19, 2012: “I only earn $65/000year now. Three years ago, I was earning $500/000 plus.” Currently, David Grossman is in arrears some $25,000 for child support of his handicapped child, while his second wife sues him for alimony. LAWYERS DAVID GROSSMAN AND JAMES O’ROURKE HAVE MADE A MOCKERY OF SUFFOLK COUNTY’S MATRIMONIAL DEPARTMENT.

Interestingly, Judge Jerry Garguilo (S) claims “this Court is not aware of even a scintilla of conflict between it and Americans for Legal Reform. The Court celebrates the rights we all enjoy to dissent, protest (peacefully) and the freedom to speak and express ourselves.” (Hayes v. Hayes, Index No. 21531-10).
Former lawyer and Grievance Committee Board Member , Scott Rothstein, was sentenced to 50 years for using his Florida law firm to run a $1.2 billion Ponzi scheme. (ABC News 6/9/10).
Per Capita lawyers, District of Columbia: 277 lawyers/10,000 population. New York is the highest state: 20 lawyers/10,000. North Dakota is the lowest with 4 lawyers/10,000. Florida, California, N.J. and PA. Have 11 per 10,000. (

THE OLDEST MOST SUCCESSFUL LEGAL GROUP IN THE WORLD has witnessed the achievement of many of its initial goals, but this month we have seen our biggest achievement, thanks to the Grievance Committee’s act to sanction the famed and controversial lawyer, Dominick Barbara (the bloated one), whose law license was suspended. The one and one-half year suspension brought about the firm’s downfall and Nassau D.A.’s investigation into allegations he bilked his clients of hundreds of thousands in fees.
Through the years, we have advised many litigants to write the Committee of the DR’s violated by Dominick. We hope their message will sober the actions of the other unscrupulous lawyers on our list.
So much more is happening in regard to legal reform. We hope you remain connected as we move forward. You have an ideal opportunity to do so by getting yourself and your friends involved in ALR or spearhead a committee or group of your own.

With 2.8 million on L.I. and only 80 judges to handle the work load, it’s been 13 years since they received a salary increase or cost of living increase. N.Y.S. Supreme Justices who earn $136,700.00 ranked 48th in the country. (Newsday 3/22/11) Michael Dawidziat, who is president of strategicplanning.com and worked on local campaigns for Andrew Crecca, Robert Gaffney, Ed Romaine, Joseph Farneti and Robert Ross).

More than 10 years ago, Robert Matherson, owner of the Oak Beach Inn, gave us one of his “Get out of New York State before it is too late” trucks. Originally, we had it painted “Stop the Lawyer Disease” but have since repainted it, “Mistreated by the Justice System.” Without conflict, we have parked the vehicle on the streets until the Town of Huntington recently ticketed us with two fines, totaling $1,000.00. ALR hopes this dispute does not evolve into a 20-year conflict as Bob had to endure with the OBI.
