Application Procedures

Please submit your signed applicationvia e-mail using the above application form and the original duly signed copies be sent by post or courier to DWIH, 2 Nyaya Marg, Chanakyapuri, Delhi – 110021.

All application forms must be sent to , with “Application” and your institution’s name in the subject line. Please note:

  1. The application with multiple participating consortium members will be preferred. However, the applicant should submit a letter from other participating consortium members and Indian partners certifying their participation as well asclear definition of their roles.

The receipt of the application will be acknowledged within a week. The review procedure may take up to 4-6 weeks. Thereafter, the applicant will be informed about the decision.

Contact Information

The application must include the name and contact information of the authorisedindividual from the applying institution. All correspondence regarding the application of the event will be directed towards this individual. If subsequently the authorized individual changes, the applicant organization must submit a stamped & signed authorization letter by an authorized signatory of the institution to DWIH with the details of the new contact person.

Events

Applicants are not limited to the event formats listed on the application form. The applicants are encouraged to develop innovative event formats that encourage communication, networking and knowledge sharing.

Preference will be given to those proposals, which:

-include participants from multiple DWIH member organizations.

-add a clear benefit to the objectives of the DWIH New Delhi, especially in bringing together outstanding young and senior scientists from Germany and India.

-have a special focus on the interface between Academia and Industry

-add to the visibility of the German scientific landscape and the collaboration of the German scientific community with the Indian scientific community.

Please note:

  1. Funding is subject to Annex I- Financial rules & regulations for DWIH co-funding of member activities.
  2. Co-funding of a DWIH event by the applicant’s organization or institute is mandatory.
  3. Each applying organization or institute should ensure to reach out to their own target group.
  4. The logo of DWIH should be used in all the event material as per the corporate guidelines of DWIH New Delhi.
  5. For approved applications, a draft programme has to be submittedat least 4 weeksprior to the event
  6. An illustrated event evaluation report along with two to three pictures of the event, giving details of the activity and describing whether and to what extent the project objectives were achieved, both qualitatively and quantitatively, must be submitted within two weeks of completion of the event. If the project objectives were not fully or only partially achieved, then this must be explained in the report. DWIH New Delhi will have right to publish the pictures as well as extracts of this report. Report must be sent to Ms. Trisha Acharya .
