London Stock Exchange introduces amendments to membership fee discounts and change to invoicing period

Annual London Stock Exchange membership fees remain unchanged, however in order to align the Membership Price List to the new accounting reference date, set to 31 December, from 2016, the annual membership fee will be invoiced in January for the 12 months commencing 1 January 2016. For the period from April 2015 to December 2015, the Annual Membership Fee will be invoiced on a pro-rata 9 month basis and will be equal to £9,375.

From April 2015 the annual credit against fees for trading and trade reporting of equities, ETFs and ETPs will only be made available for Private Client Brokers. This is in line with London Stock Exchange’s initiatives to support wider retail participation in LSEG markets.

The 20% cross access discount for Borsa Italiana members will no longer apply from April 2015.

All changes are reflected in the London Stock Exchange Membership Price List effective 1 April 2015 available at:

In line with the above, annual fees for non-member firm OTC trade reporting also remain unchanged but please note from 2016 the annual service charge for non-member firm OTC trade reporting will be invoiced for 12 months commencing 1 January 2016. For the period from April 2015 to December 2015, the annual service charge will be applied on a 9 month pro-rata basis and will be equal to £750.
