Creative Ways to Care Thursdays from 23 June Lynbrook

This seven session education program, helps carers to respond to changes in behaviours caused by dementia. In this course, carers learn about different ways to use activities at home including music, creative art, reminiscence, massage and aromatherapy to prevent or reduce changed behaviours. This program is created and facilitated by Alfred Health Carer Services at various locations during the year.

Coping with Changes in Behaviour Thursday 11 August 2016 Hawthorn

This program deals with some of the changes in behaviour caused by dementia as well as the possible triggers to these behaviours. Participants will learn a problem-solving approach which helps them to understand and better manage these changes. Facilitated by Alzheimer’s Australia Vic.
