B Objectives

What is the main purpose for this course?
1.  Providing students with a foundation of essential knowledge & skills necessary for the comprehension of literature both for its form and content.
2.  Equipping students with the basic tools to appreciate three major genres of literature: fiction (novel), poetry and drama.

C. Course Description:
The course will analyze the basic literary concepts and forms/terms associated with the three major genres of literature: fiction (novel), poetry and drama and hence it will provide students with a foundation of essential knowledge & skills necessary for the comprehension of literature both for its form and content.
