Zogby Radio: A Fair and Balanced Look At What People Are Really Thinking

“Pulse of the Nation” to be a nonpartisan discussion of the worlds of American politics, business, pop culture, and lifestyles.

When Pollster John Zogby takes to the airwaves later this year as host of a one-hour weekly radio program, listeners will get a unique peek into the American mindset.
There’s been a lot of talk about polls and polling over the past few years, but usually, that talk barely scratches the surface. Now, one of the industry’s leaders will talk in-depth, directly with listeners, in an extended format about the important issues of the day. Zogby, President and CEO of Zogby International, has been conducting public opinion research for 22 years. His company, which is an independent polling and market research firm, is headquartered in Utica, New York, with offices in Washington D.C. and Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The program, Pulse of the Nation, will air on the Nova M Radio network, based in Phoenix. Each program will include expert guests and audience participation. At the end of each show John will reveal the secret results of a poll discussed during the show, and each listener will then know whether or not they have their finger on The Pulse of the Nation.
“I am largely known for my work in political polling, but we do so much more non-political survey work. Over the years, we at Zogby have built up an incredible body of research into the thinking of Americans, and people all over the world. On the radio show, we will not only discuss our new polling data on a wide variety of topics, we will also take looks back at public opinion over time.”
“Because we have maintained our status as an independent company not tied to the Democrats or the Republicans, we have the flexibility to conduct survey research in a wide variety of arenas. Our independence is one of the things that sets us apart,” Zogby said. “And today, when the nation is so politically polarized, our independence has become even more important.”
The Pulse of the Nation will be heard on affiliates across the nation, and will also be streamed live at the network’s website: www.novamradio.com.
Zogby is known as one of the world’s premiere pollsters, and has won high praise from candidates and pundits across the political spectrum. He has accurately identified the winners of the last three U.S. presidential races. He was also ahead of the curve in identifying the strength behind the 2000 presidential campaign of Republican John McCain, and the dramatic erosion of Democrat Howard Dean’s support and the rise of Democrat John Kerry’s support in late 2003, just weeks before the Iowa caucuses, which were won by Kerry. In addition to traditional telephone polling, Zogby is pioneering the use of interactive survey research, a promising technique of applying long-held survey research principles to Internet technology.
