Scholarship: One (1) scholarship of $1,000
Eligibility: Current P.A.L. Ice Hockey Junior C player planning
on attending college full time (12 or more credits) in
September 2011.
Requirements: 1. Application must be completely filled out.
2. Two (2) letters of recommendation.
3. Most recent High School transcript.
4. Essay
Application must be mailed to P.A.L. Ice Hockey, Scholarship Application, 660 Terry Rd, Hauppauge, NY 11788 and be postmarked by February 21, 2011.
The Scholarship recipient is required to show proof of acceptance to a College or University as well as evidence of attendance. The scholarship will be distributed directly to the recipient upon P.A.L. Ice Hockey’s receipt of proof.
P.A.L. Ice Hockey’s Board of Directors will review the application and documents submitted by each applicant. Board members may not vote to confirm any scholarship for himself/herself or any relative.

Being a member of the P.A.L. Ice Hockey Junior C team has brought you excellent success and exposure. You have had the benefit of being coached by an exceptional coaching staff and have worked extremely hard to meet not only their expectations but your own.
As you know, life is not hockey but a part of your make-up and what is inside of you. Please explain in as much detail as possible what you have learned about life through the game of hockey and how this game has prepared you for the future.
