Description / Job Summary and Mission:
As the Private Wealth Management Regional Sales Manager, you partner with Regional Managers (RM) to develop region goals (households, net new assets, revenue/ROA, Private Wealth Advisor (PWA) headcount, Financial Advisor (FA)/PWA partnering) and provide consistent feedback on progress, opportunities and obstacles.
Key Responsibilities:
• Be accountable for driving region growth goals in partnership with Region Manager.
• Visit branches to communicate PWM core messages, educate FAs on Ultra High Net Worth(UHNW) business and opportunities, as well as successes and failures. Assist Market Area Managers work with their FAs to execute the best possible solutions for their UHNW clientele. Uncover business opportunities and encourage/arrange FA/PWA partnering. Become an integral part of regional team.
• Identify internal PWA candidates in partnership with Branch Office Managers. Facilitate progression and coach FAs through PWM accreditation. Partner with Branch Managers on external recruiting and help onboard new hires.
• Monitor all UHNW client activity (e.g., new relationships, Automated Customer Account Transfers) and facilitate activities to optimize client experience and the growth/retention of assets. Partner with Region Manager to identify key UHNW target prospects and develop/execute acquisition plan.
• Assist FAs/PWAs at point of sale meetings, local Private Briefings and client education events. Coordinate with PWM Specialists, Regional Consulting Centers, and other product and service areas (e.g., IB).
• Solicit and report success stories and best practices to facilitate national PWA professional development
Requirements / • 5 years sales experience, preferably in financial services
• Bachelor's Degree; advanced degree in Finance, Legal or Management given additional consideration
• Series 7 and 63 or 66 licensed
• Proven ability to negotiate and influence at all levels
• Strategic perspective with tactical orientation
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Team-oriented, innovative, forward-thinking
• Persistence in driving change; resilience in stressful situations
• Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
