For School Bus Strike
MTA BUSES AND SUBWAYS
In New York City all NYC MTA buses are wheelchair accessible for people with disabilities. Many accessible subway stations in Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens are equipped with an auto gate, an automatic entry/exit gate that allows people with mobility disabilities accompanied with service animals or wheelchair users to enter and exit the subway system. ACCESS-A-RIDE PARATRANSIT
Eligible Access-A-Ride members should Call 1-877-337-2017. People with hearing disabilities can use their preferred relay service or the free 711 free relay services. Trips can be reserved from 7am-5pm and should occur one to two days in advance.
