This class is limited to 40 participants.
The fee will be billed to your co-op after the course. Lunch is included each day.
Audience:
This course is designed for lineworkers who are currently supervisors or expect to hold a supervisory role. / COURSE DESCRIPTION – 30 HOUR
Objectives & Event Highlights:
The objective of this training is to review the hazards of utility work and introduce the students to the OSHA rules regarding these hazards. The training will involve demonstrations of electric hazards and how to handle them so students will have a good perspective of the hazards involved with their type of work.

2 hours of managing safety and health
2 hours of walking and working surfaces
2 hours of exit routes (EAP)
2 hours electrical
1 hour personal protective equipment
2 hours materials handling
2 hours hazard communications
2 hours permit required confined spaces
2 hours hazardous materials
2 hours lock out tag out
1 hour machine guarding
1 hour welding, cutting, and brazing
1 hour bloodborne pathogens
2 hours fall protection
1 hour safety and health programs
1 hour powered industrial vehicles

Important: Participants in the OSHA 10-hour class will be attending the first 1-1/2 days of this class. In the 30-hour class, the instructor will be expanding on curriculum taught in the 10-hour class to comply with OSHA requirements.
The course is certified by OSHA and cards are issued to the students completing this course.
Confirmation: A minimum of ten people must be registered for the course to be held and a maximum of 40 people can attend.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received on or before the registration deadline will receive full refunds. Cancellations received after the deadline may be billed the full registration fee.
