Atlantic Region
The Atlantic Region is implementing a Uniform System of Sanctions for anyone involved in MIP violations. The sanctions are minimum requirements that must be met and they along with any other sanctions will not be lifted until all performance criteria have been met. If you choose to go inactive, the measures will be waiting for you upon your return to Zeta. The minimum sanctions are as follows:
1. You must pay membership dues at all levels of the sorority for the life of your suspension.
2. You must undergo MIP training and certification regardless of when you last received it.
3. You must assist in conducting an MIP Training w/ a certified trainer and your performance will be evaluated.
4. You must attend all State and Regional Conferences held during the time of your suspension. Your status however, will be that of a non-voting Soror.
5. You must give a mandatory contribution to the Capital Campaign for each year of your suspension as follows:
Graduate Chapters = $500
Undergraduate Chapters =$250
Graduate Sorors =$200
Undergraduate Sorors =$100
6. You must give a mandatory contribution to your State’s contribution towards Region’s effort to raise funds for the NEF Endowment for each year of your suspension as follows:
Graduate Chapters = $300
Undergraduate Chapters = $150
Graduate Sorors = $150
Undergraduate Sorors = $75
7. You must do three (3) separate and distinct ZHOPE projects from each area (Mind, Body and Spirit) with a Chapter in good standing with the Sorority University (where applicable).
8. You must serve on at least one committee within your Chapter, and serve on a committee at the State or Regional level for a period of no less than one (1) year.
