PART B.Students are to answer the following questions on a separate 8 ½” x 11” sheet of paper. All answers must be TYPED and NOT EXCEED 1 PAGE single sided!

  1. If you could have a super power for your week at WP what would it be and how would you use it positively, to make the WP experience more meaningful for fellow leaders and campers?
  2. What do you think is the most important thing to do as a PL/Counsellor before, during, and after your week at Camp White Pine?
  3. What can you do to help bring back to school the positive lessons and experiences had at White Pine and, also, help extend and expand on the positive interactions between ECI students for the remainder of the school year?

PART C. - ‘WP Spirit’ Picture

You are to include a photograph of yourself showing your best “White Pine Spirit”. If you did not attend White Pine, please include a ‘spirited’ picture that demonstrates the pride you have in being a student at ECI. All images MUST be appropriate or your application form will not be accepted. Do not stress about the photograph! Above all else, be creative and HAVE FUN WITH IT!

*NOTE: The application must be stapled together (no other binders or folders are necessary). PLEASE ONLY SUBMIT A MAXIMUM OF 3 PAGES, on 8 ½” x 11”, TOTAL! It must include the requested information under PARTS A., B., and C.

Documentarian: Photographer/Videographer

Below is a list of the final products to be produced by the selected candidate:

a. A 7-10 minute video to show Gr. 8 & 9 parents what White Pine is all about (and why their kids should go)

b. A 12-15 minute video that recaps the week at White Pine, geared towards campers and leaders that you complete WHILE AT THE CAMP.

c. Unlimited number of pictures at each activity

d. Help put together a display case for Curriculum Night and Parent’s Night

e. Confidentiality with ALL pictures and video – only YOU will/should have access to these images

PART B. Students must submit a 1½-2 minute sample reel of their best work. It should demonstrate the quality of the work they would bring to White Pine to produce 3 final products. The final product will be a combination of stills and video clips with appropriate music. SHOW US YOUR BEST! BE CREATIVE and HAVE FUN WITH IT!

White Pine Documentarian Position: Photographer/Videographer
Please provide an explanation of the sample reel (DVD format) that you have submitted.
Explain the techniques that you have used/will use in order to create a documentary video that captures the positive meaning and feelings experienced at Camp White Pine.

PART C.Students are to answer the following questions on a separate 8 ½” x 11” sheet of paper. All answers must to be TYPED and NOT EXCEED 1 PAGE single sided!

  1. What do you think is the most important thing to do as a WP Documentarian before, during, and after your week at Camp White Pine? This is above and beyond creating 3 Videos.
  2. How can your White Pine documentary help bring back to school the positive lessons and experiences had at White Pine and, also, help extend and expand on the positive interactions between ECI students for the remainder of the school year?

PART D.- ‘WP Spirit’ Picture

You are to include a photograph of yourself showing your best “White Pine Spirit”. If you did not attend White Pine, please include a ‘spirited’ picture that demonstrates the pride you have in being a student at ECI. All images MUST be appropriate or your application form will not be accepted. Do not stress about the photograph! Above all else, be creative and HAVE FUN WITH IT!

Place the neatly and clearly labeled DVD (name & student number) in an envelope and attach it to your completed application. PLEASE ONLY SUBMIT A MAXIMUM OF 3 PAGES, on 8 ½” x 11”, TOTAL!
