SENIOR PORTRAITS
Senior portraits are due on November 14, 2016.
You are responsible for submitting a senior portrait in order to be included in the yearbook.
If you go to a professional photographer, please tell them the following:
¶ Our deadline date is November 14th
¶ Your senior portrait for the yearbook must be a headshot.
¶ We would prefer to receive the photo on disk rather than a print. A print is fine if they prefer; I don’t want you to have to pay any additional fees. Photographers may put all PSHS students on one disk. I do not need separate disks for each student.
¶ Do not email portraits.
¶ We are printing the yearbook in color. If you would prefer your photo in black and white, you must submit a black and white photo.
¶ Portraits should be vertical.

If you do not hire a professional photographer you must adhere to the following:
¶ The picture must be a headshot. That means it is just you, and your head and face are the focal point of the picture. I strongly suggest that you google the photographers on the back and look at some of the senior portraits they have done. They know what we’re looking for.
¶ No candids as portraits! While we want you to be able to express your individuality in the yearbook, there needs to be some uniformity to the senior portrait pages. Students without portraits will not be included on the portrait pages.
¶ Digital photos must be high resolution (no cell phones!).
¶ Digital photos must be submitted on a CD or flash drive with your name written on it.
¶ If you submit a print, it must be professionally developed. Do not submit photos printed on your home computer!!! They will not maintain quality as they go through the book printing process.
I will be giving you plenty of reminders about deadlines throughout the first months of school, so pay careful attention to the announcements. Thanks!
