TEACHING/LEARNING ACTIVITIES
Introduction - Reflection Activity
Ask the children the following questions:-
·  What have you enjoyed about your goal challenge?
·  What have you found difficult?
·  What have you got better at?
·  Who has helped you?
·  What things help to motivate you?
Record their reflections either by completing a question slip or by recording thoughts using a digital camera, digi-blue camera or easi-speak microphone. You could set up a big brother chair!
MAIN TEACHING AND LEARNING
Celebration Ceremony
Ask the children to organise a class celebration ceremony or share a project at a whole school assembly! Sort the children into small groups to organise the class or whole school celebration. Give each group a task e.g. design and make certificates, invite someone to present certificates, organise proceedings and seating, create celebration photo wall.
DIFFERENTIATION
Older or more able could be given responsibility for a group task.
PLENARY
Celebration of learning. Final reflections using reflection slips on individual and class achievements.

ASSESSMENT FOR LEARNING
As part of the lesson, pupils should complete “Traffic Light” self assessments for the unit.
