Dear Mrs. Musterfrau,
Walking through a supermarket, I cannot abandon a marketing-perspective: When I once stood in front of the fruit juice shelves, I was immediately magnetized to the XYZ products. It was the special packing and the variety of fruit juices that made me warm up with the XYZ brand.
This enthusiasm is surely not enough to be capable to contribute to XYZ success. Of course, I can also offer the required background: After my studies of business administration at WHU in Germany and London Business School, I am presently working as a product manager for one of the many Unilever brands. Here, I develop and implement marketing strategies for launches and sales animations and analyse sales figures, current and future market as well as consumer requirements.
I see my strength in the combination of analytical skills with an open-minded and creative thinking which helps me to conduct sound marketing activities. In these fast-changing world auf the FMCG industry, I can only perform successfully, as I manage complexity and communication efficiently – inside the team, with different departments and agencies, but also across borders. My present work is full of exchange with colleagues from international Marketing and with colleagues from other European countries. Applying my English skills pleases me very much.
After having gained experience in national marketing, I am now motivated for a change. I would love to work internationally and I am willing to bring my strengths to managing innovation projects and bringing forward XYZ’s product development. I would truly fancy contributing to XYZ’s success.
