WOMEN’S SMALL GROUP BIBLE STUDY - Wednesday, December 14th - 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. - This is a study of Grace by author Jerry Bridges
Attention LADIES! On Tuesday, December 20th at 7:00 p.m. come to church and join your sister’s in Christ for the Annual “White Elephant” Ladies Christmas Gift Party!! What is a “white elephant”? It is an object that you no longer want or need, an item to re-gift or something that you have around the house what would make a great “gag” gift. Wrap the gift nicely and see who ends up with your gift. It is loads of fun and a time of food, fellowship as well as a time of devotions. Make this your first time and you’ll look forward to this event each year. Please sign up in the foyer.
An Adult New Membership Class will start on January 8, 2017 at 9:45 a.m. in the class room opposite the Library (the green room). Please sign up on the bulletin board in the foyer if you would like to attend.
ABBA Certificates – If you shop at Shop Rite or Acme, please consider buying a gift card from either store, in denominations from $5 to $100. It is an exact exchange of money, with no surcharge, and five cents of every dollar benefits ABBA Pregnancy Crisis Center. Please stop at the Welcome Center before or after every morning service to make your purchase. It’s an easy way to show you are pro-life[cb1]!
HOLIDAY PLANS
- Join us Christmas Eve at 7:25 PMfor a wonderful time of worship and reflection on the birth of our Savior climaxing in candlelight.
- Christmas Morning, Sunday, December 25th. We will be serving continental breakfast (breads, muffins, bagels, Danish, fruit) coffee and juices at 10 AM followed by a Celebration Service at 11 AM.
- Please sign up and list what you could share with us that day of celebration.
- New Year’s Day, Sunday, January 1st, 2017. We will be serving an Agape Feast Breakfast on New Year’s Day at 10 AM. We will be developing the menu shortly. The Celebration Communion Service is at 11 AM.
- As this year winds down…remember to get in your 2016 offerings and donations in for tax purposes.

AWANA Store – An incentive for children to hide God’s Word in their heart.TODAY we will be collecting donations of money to stock the AWANA store with various prizes and awards to incent our children to learn their verses and display proper behavior. Christmas Cantata Closing Performance Tonight! Please join us tonight for another celebration of Christ’s birth as we experienceWrapped in Love: Jesus, the Gift of God’s Presence. This musical is filled with fun and festivity paired with the poignant portrayal of the first Christmas by our Children’s and Adult Choirs and Drama Teams. Bring others for a sweet time to “share the joy”!
All Cast Call: Please meet at 5:15 PM to prepare for the second and final performance of “Wrapped in Love.”
DVD Orders for ‘Wrapped in Love’ can be given today by placing $10 for each DVD in an envelope marked with your name, form and payment included (extra forms at the bulletin board in the lobby) placed in the offering plate or handed into the office. DVDs should be available by Christmas Day. You may also pay at the time of delivery (pre-ordering helps us plan).

Poinsettias - $9.50 – Help adorn the church for this Christmas Season by purchasing a red poinsettia in honor or memory of a loved one or friend. Please sign up on the bulletin board in the foyer and see Sarah Gilbert or Carol Bachman with your money.
Christmas Caroling - Do you want to brighten the Christmas of our shut-ins and folks in the hospital? Well come with us next Sunday, December 18(meet at 6:00 p.m.) to go and spread the joy of Jesus to these dear folks and have a time of sweet fellowship.
Did you notice the cutout of a green Christmas tree on the wall of the church lobby? We have a long-standing tradition of placing our Christmas greeting for the entire church family on that tree, thus saving the cost of many cards and postage. Then we have the custom of placing the savings in the offering, where it is used each year for a special purpose. This year, these funds will be given to Jonathan Colekraty, for the building of a radio station. We invite you to participate in this tradition by placing your card on the tree and your offering in a blue envelope marked “Colekraty”. Thank you.

Handicap Restrooms - Unless it is an emergency, please use our regular restrooms facilities to allow our people with special needs complete access to the Handicap Accessible Bathroom. Thank you for your cooperation in this area.
Parking Spaces – Please refrain from parking in the designated handicap spaces unless you have an authorized permit. Please DO NOT PARK in unauthorized or unmarked spaces to allow access for Emergency Service vehicles. If you need assistance in parking, please pull up to the awning at our main entrance and someone will assist you.
Health Concerns During the Services – If you don’t feel well during a service please summon an usher or ask a neighbor in the pew to summon some
one so that we can adequately tend to any medical issues. Please do not be concerned about disrupting the service. We care about you!
Parents Children – Parents, in an effort to consistently improve our worship services, we ask you to sit with your children and teenagers in the worship service so that all can be edified without great distraction. Phones and tablets can be used too by our young people to access sermon notes and the Bible online, but we ask that they refrain from other uses so that they can grow as well.
Robo Call – When we call you from FBC with important announcements it will come from the following phone number (866) 681-5599 or it may show up as e-announcement on your caller ID.
Tithes & Offerings – FBC keeps track of all financial giving by check or cash through an envelope system. If you want a financial tax deduction statement at the end of year, please help us by requesting and using our envelope system. Please put name clearly on your envelope for the first month or two so we can be accurate in recording your giving. Gordon Johnson is our point of contact to request an envelope box. ______
