World religions derived from the Vedic

Often the main difference that is pointed out between the main religions and the eastern religions (different hidu sects and the buddhists) is that the aim at liberation, where as in the west they have an idea of heaven.

Schollars like Henry Corbin (important to mention the names because it shows that this is not just our specutlation) have traced the whole history of the idea of attaining paradise back to the Zoastorian tradition and scriptures of persia. In modern days the remains of the this tradition are the parcies. Where heaven was called the pardise of Yima (which is a name of Yamaraja) who is a son of the Sungod Vivasvana (Vivasgane) because they dont have an S sound. Devotees might ask what Yamarajaa has to do with pardise. But Pitri loka is Yamaraja’s court where all the pious pitris are in a Sabha. Srimad Bhagavatam describes Yamraraja as Pitriraja. The people of his sabha are all pious Karmakandis. The language of the Zoastrians is very similar to sanskrit there are many examples.

This is an aside. Karma marge is prominent in the Weastern religions. Rupa says jnana karma anavrttam, strip away the karma and jnana to bring out the pure bhakti. Of course there is bhakti to, but it is obscured by the mauch more prominent karma and jnana is almost not there at all.

How did it happen taht the Karma marg is so prominent. Trancending the plane of good and evil has never been an option in the western religions. So their idea of ultimate good is the idea of heaven. How did this happen.

The karma marg path of fruitive work is certainly a path in the Veda but it is not an end, it is one of the levels on the way to the ultimate aim which is prema. There are certain statements in the Upanisads karma nirmuktam destroy karma, through karma off.

How did this come to be, Vedic India and the ancient west shared an ancient common base there are examples like NL West who tracked core ideas in ancient greek are traced back to the ancient Veda. He doest the same thing, greek to persia to Zoaster to Vedic tradition. The greeks and the Romons thought it was coming from Persia, but they knew it was coming from India. Ancient persia shared its culture with India but at one point in time something that India rejected in India took hold in Persia. This is an ancient doctrine of dualism which means, just like you see in Christiananity where there is God and Satan who are at difference with each other. BVPS when you are dealing in the realm of karma the themes are good triumphs over evil.

But in the SB it is not like that, like the story of Vrtrasura which turns this whole idea on it’s head. Vrtra is the Demon, Indra apparntly wins, but Vrtra goes back to Godhead and Indra gets so many reactions.

Zoastrianism was propagated in Persia at some ‘unknown’ date. We know it actually existed during the Vedic times. There is not much left of them except for the parcies in Mumbai. Concepts of Zoastrianism live in Christianity, Jewdiasim and Islam.

The tachings of Zarathustra were also known in ancient India where he is known as Jaruta and Jarasabda (Bhavista Purana) in the Rig Veda where he is criticized greatly and known to be at odds with Vasista rsi. In the Zoastrain scriptues Vasista is called Vahista is called the bad guy which means lost of intelligences. In the scriptues we know that Vasista was a worshiper of varuna (SB) they were both priests of VAruna. In the RG veda Varuna is called Asura Maya. These two priests went into dispute.

Jarasabda founded a secot of priests called the magdas. the 3 wise men were magda priests.

Among the twelve addityas, Varuana is the chief. In successive months of the year each of the twelve take turns presiding over the sky. The sun like Varuna is alos called Asura from asura rati he who resures the sky. Asura Maya fits both the sun and Varuna. Varuna is also the commander of a host of undersee creatures. In the Zoastrian azendavesta the suprema deity is called Ahura Mazda (which means wize lord). The sun and Varuna.

This is all at the Rg Veda stage. Becuae the Veda is eternal then each cration you have a Zoastra who distors the Veda which develop as the Christianity, Jewdism and etc.

Zendavesta presnents the Devas and the Ahuras as the good spritits. Vyasadeva says that the magas are attached to purformance of fire sacrifiecs. Even today the magi are fire venerating. Becauee of a curese Jarasabda birth was not high class but the sun promoted him. The Zend scriptues do indeed promote the sun by worshiping whom you are woshiping Ahura Mazda. In other words they promote the worship of Varuna via the worship of the Sun and fire.

Orriginally for the Zoastrians it was a sin to kill a cow, but now a days the parcies eat anything.

It is in this special allegiance to the solar deity that the Zoastrians are sold to. Mitra is another name for Ahura Mazda which is a name for the light of the sun. Varuana is the keeper of the night (where Varuna has a thousand eyes to observer the sins of men) and Mitra (friend observes the day) of the day.

Though at night the eye of the sun is closed, in the day his 1000 eyes is open. Varuna also means to bind.

The Vedic literature links Varuna to Yamaraja. Angra minyu is the foe of Ahura Mazda, he relates to Angira muni of the Vedic lore.

In the Vedic version the powers of good and evil are not ultimate. But in the Zoastrian they are very prominent. Varuna was married to Sukracaryas daughter, and through him Varuan has a connection to the demons.

The demons can hide out in the ocean and he doesn’t bother them.

Zoastrainism was a reveolutionay departure from the vedic version. Zoastra denied evil. He said evil is not a bad thing at all but a departure from the good path. In other words because there is a seperate principal of evil that is some how a limitation of God so they do not have any connection of good. We know it is Krsna’s energy but they have no such idea.

The person of little faith, has to blame someone else. But if it was somehow related to God they would loose faith in God.

Proffessor Norman Colm, who belives appocoloptism has sprouted from Zoastraism or belif in a final battle between good and evil. This battle would be sparked by a masia.

Zuravan is a development of Zoastrianism which means time, in Zurvanism Kala is worshiped as the supreme detiy. Kala is the chariot of the sun who moves through the heavens illuminating the world. Zurvanism developed into Jewdism and lives on today in the Irranan sufisim.

The magi tought that Zurvanism tought that Kala devided the sky into parts of good of evil.

Living entities are born in time, grow in time and die in time. Surya and Zurvan are one and the same.

1.  In ancient times Zarustra departed from the Vedic version.

2.  The devitation of Zoastraimins is that it only accepts the time of material world and leaves the timeless supereme person beyond time. He is worshped as Varuna or Asura Mazda.

4.  The appoliptic end of time was developed by Zoastra who spoke of a time in the future where all people would be judged, otherse would become immortal and the

Celebacy was regarded as a sin where it is like wise a sin in Jewdism and Islam where celebacy is considered a sin. The ultimate order of Jewdisam is be “fruitful and multiply.” In christianity it was

Dharma artha and karma are the religion of the Zoastras. Moksa and prema do not feature in this religion or it’s deriviatives. Raso vai – the supreme lord is Rasa, this is lost in these traditions.

Time is the irristable force which brings together all living entities in sexual relation.

Material religion is based on the principal of fear.

The conviction that religion is trivarga with no scope of liberation is demoniac. The teachers in Hiranyakasipu’s gurukula only taught trivarga.

1.  The origian is demonic by connection with Varuna through Sukra Acarya.

2.  It is demoniac because it only concentrates on the tri-varga.

The five levels of perception paroksa is the only level that the karmis get to. They never get beyond it so their religion is upadharama.

Bhavisya purana says that in Kali-yuga Jaganatha comes as a brahmana and speaks for the benifit of the whole world, that the residents of the mixed up countries, decendents of Kasyapa, will become brahmans by samskara, wear sikha, do the highest yajna, will study the highest scriptures, will worship the son of Saci. (This refutes ideas that Bhavisya purana is an interpolation written after the time of Caitanya).
