Main items for the kick-off workshop are:

  • Preparation for the Pre-Courses and materials
  • Work on the CLIL book
  • Ensure that all teams know their tasks and responsibilities
  • Quality control and monitoring
  • Dissemination

Please if possible bring a laptop computer or aniPad. Please also bring an extension cord for multiple sockets if you need to power your laptop;-)

09.00 The two Danish teams meet to coordinate the exploitation and dissemination activities in Denmark.

14.00Feedbacks (We have all given our feedback to all the first scenarios, both Primary and Vet…) Maybe Primary could just give a general opinion on Vet’s work and the other way round.

Work in two groups (Primary and VET) on scenarios, agreement on selection and allocation of scenarios.

10.30Presentation of the Pre-Course ideas and materials to be used for the content teachers’ pre-courses

14.00Demo of the CLIL materials database/repository (Kent Andersen).

14.30All teams get logins and passwords for the database

15.00First compilation of suitable materials for CLIL based lessons in primary schools and vocational colleges. All teams enter data in the new database to ensure they know how to do so.

October 1st

Ongoing consultations with the financial controller, Lajla Pedersen.Lajla will offer assistance to all teams so if you have questions about the financial reporting then please have them ready for Lajla.

Presentation of the CLIL book content. (Maria Theodorou)

Materials for the newsletters: Which photos may be used in our newsletters? Remember to get permission from parents.

10.00Video materials: Which videos may be edited and posted online in e.g. Teachertube so they can be shared from our website?

10.30 Where to store video and photos: We may need to get a separate storage system where we can still see all photos etc. This is due to the Dropbox problems.

11.30Translation phase: Translations (feasibility, maybe not appropriate for all scenarios)

October3rd The teams travel home. It is also possible to have a late flight on the Thursday, or as mentioned earlier to travel home on the Sunday if the total price by doing so is less expensive.

* Please note that meals, drinks etc. due to the EU regulations set out in the financial handbook have to be paid by each participant / national team (the cost is of course covered by the per diem).
