Must apply for new or addition plan review appointments online go to Plan Review / Web-Schedule Plan Review (Building Plumbing) / Click Buildings & Fire Suppression link below picture on bottom left / Click Plan Review Scheduler link below picture on bottom right

If it’s a revision to a previously approved plan (canopy has a structural change after approval received but prior to construction as long as it is still the same area) do not use online appointment request as the below describes. Email Transaction ID to nd give details of change and original File Type. For area changes, must start over with new plan review to get appropriate fees.

Task 1 Notes

Date Plans Will be in DSPS office:Choose approx. 3 weeks from today’s date to allow enough time to coordinate all paperwork for the submittal, including a formal site plan showing the proposed canopy and dimensions to all other buildings on lot and to property lines. Most plan review appointments are 3.5 to 6.5 weeks from today’s date.

Scope of Service RequestedMost plan reviews “Building & Architectural Review” or “Building & Architectural Review & Permission to Start” (Permission to start gives ok to do footings before plans are approved at owner’s risk, costs approx. $175 extra, requires owner’s signature, requires all submittal documents before permission to start letter is issued). Once in a while another designer is involved in the footing design, and then scope may be set up as components or otherwise differently.

Review OfficeWe prefer Madison, and write that on the comments section of Task 1 bottom of page – lots of reviewers and most consistent
