Building Permits:

The work described in these specifications is to be carried out in accordance with all applicable codes and ordinances. The contractor must pay for and obtain all required permits prior to the start of construction. Contractors and subcontractors are responsible for posting copies of the permits at the jobsite and for scheduling all required inspections during the course of construction. Contractors or subcontractors who fail to obtain required permits, or call for required inspections, may be suspended from future bidding. The Housing Development Division has the right to inspect the work at any time without advance notice.

Doors: Entry

Replace main Entry door with 6 panel insulated fiberglass in paintgrade jamb with integral weather stripping and adjustable threshold. Installation to include repair of interior and exterior finishes as needed, replacement of related interior and exterior trim with like material, Reuse locksets for front door. New lockset to garage to key alike to front door deadbolt.

It is the contractor's responsibility to verify the size and operation of the door, as well as the condition of the existing tracks and hardware, prior to ordering.

Storm Door

Install a white combination door, (front ) Larsen value core or equivalent.

Patio doors

Remove and replace sliding doors with new vinyl thermal pane units that match the new windows. Repair/return adjacent surfaces to original condition and caulk in new doors. Doors must be ENERGY STAR compliant with a Ufactor of 0.30 or below. A Ufactor window sticker indicating it's rating and EStar certification must be submitted to Housing Development prior to installation. Contractor is responsible for field verification of quantity, dimension and operation.

Garage to house

Install 6 panel fiberglass insulated door to garage. Will include adjustable threshold and replaceable kerf style weatherstrip. New lockset to garage to key alike to front door deadbolt.

Install prefinished cabs to replace existing.Add slide out shelving in cabinet to left of sink to allow better access to corner storage. Add 6 feet base cab in nook area but use uppers in place of base cabinet to keep depth minimal. Site build toe kick base and trim out.
