Work Continues on the Backlog Dictation and Current Stats Are As Follows

The local dictation telephone numbers were forwarded to the toll free lines for the Nuance Lite system on 7/12 at 10 a.m. The last of the reports dictated in the on site eScription system will be copied out of the system and sent to Nuance. Clinicians should be aware that the first time they dial into the system it prompts that they have reached facility ASCGC and that they need to record their name. This prompt will only occur the first time they dial into the system. Updated dictation instructions are attached and will be distributed.

Reports dictated on the Nuance Lite system are in process of being transcribed and scanned into ePF. These reports will also be sent to the patient care units at the Sacred Heart facilities.

Work continues on the backlog dictation and current stats are as follows:

Providence:

1567 reports have been uploaded/dictated into the transcription lite system

860 reports have been printed and are scanned or in process of scanning in eHIM

586 reports are available for review and move to either pending or print status

126 reports have been placed in a pending status awaiting corrections

Sacred Heart Facilities:

4111 reports have been uploaded/dictated into the transcription lite system

3090 reports have been printed and are scanned or in process of scanning in ePF

419 reports are available for review and move to either pending or print status

602 reports have been placed in a pending status awaiting corrections

Enter one of the document types listed below and press #
Press 2 to Record, 1 to Pause/stop and 5 to finish the report and start another.
Press * to replay receipt, while at first prompt, after completing dictation.
