Winterbourne Down and Hambrook

PT16/0719/RVC – Hambrook Golf Range Common Mead Lane (Variation of condition no 2 attached to PT15/1387/F to enable use of building for the ancillary repair, sales and storage of golf trolleys and cycles). Approve with Conditions. The Parish Council did not raise an Objection.

Frenchay

PT16/3410/TRE – 6 Cliff Court Drive (Works to fell all Laurel trees on sloping ground covered by Tree Preservation Order 1 dated 20/04/1951). Approve with Conditions. The Parish Council felt unable to give a decision until a visit had been made by a South Gloucestershire Council tree officer.

PT16/3530/O – Beckspool Pond Beckspool Road (Erection of 1 no log cabin for use as Holiday Let (Outline) with access and layout to be determined. All matters reserved). Withdrawn. The Parish Council raised an Objection.

PT16/3701/F – 6 Frome Villas Frenchay Hill (Demolition of existing garage. Erection of a two storey side and rear and single storey side extension to provide additional living accommodation). Withdrawn. The Parish Council did not raise an Objection.

South Gloucestershire Council

·  South Gloucestershire Council have advised an order has been made to temporarily close the length of A4174 Filton Road which extends from its junction with Bromley Heath roundabout to its junction with Bristol Road westbound only. This order will be operative from 19 August 2016 for a maximum period of eighteen months but the closure will only be implemented when traffic signs are in position for as long as necessary, which is anticipated to be for 2 weeks. This is due to works in connection with the Metrobus project.
