This NEW initiative delivers excellence to our visitors ensuing that the Wild Atlantic Way as a must experience destination is communicated worldwide.

Everyone has a role to play and through YOU we want all of us delivering the optimum visitor experience – a warm welcome, a smile, real knowledge of our local area and a genuine interest our visitors informing them and promoting places to visit and things to see and do that will enrich their experience. Deliver this and visitors might just stay a little longer in your area, spend more and recommend the Wild Atlantic Way globally.

Engaging and interactive, the experienced facilitators will ensure you leave the workshop loving your local area and focused on the promotion and cross selling of a truly unique experience.

  • What to do, what to see, where to stay/meet and eat – Improve customer centricity by building suggestions for visitors based on what you know they value most
  • How to engage with Wild Atlantic Way social media
  • Supporting others to become Wild Atlantic Champions.

By the end of the training course you will:

  • Explain the Wild Atlantic Way brand promise and Fáilte Ireland’s plans for 2016
  • Identify who the visitors to your area are, prepare for and anticipate their needs
  • Demonstrate how to cross sell and motivate your visitor to stay longer
  • Be more confident, more professional and more effective when using cross selling and upselling techniques
  • Increase product knowledge by being more familiar with the tourism attractions, activities and festivals and events in your area
  • Use the tips and tools to deliver a visitor welcome workshop in your own business.
