As a student secretary, I am really honored to present the annual report of SEE for the year 2013-14 in this SEE VOICE magazine.

Success doesn’t need any proof. This is a story of success, our success which emerges from unity.The SEE has undergone its 13th installation ceremony on 23rd August 2013 and the guest of honor of the day was Dr. V. Saravanan from Thiyagarajar College of Engineering.The office bearers for this academic year has been introduced on that day,

On 23rdAugust 2013 Dr. V. Saravanan from Thiyagarajar College of Engineering conducted a seminaron Renewable Energy and Energy Management.

A motivational program for the final year students was held on 24th august 2013 handled by Er. Rajkumar from Vinay Electronics, Mumbai.

On 27th august 2013 Dr. P. Valsalal conducted a seminar on Emerging Technology in Solar photo voltaic.

Two day training for PSCAD was held for the EEE department students from 18th to 20th September 2013 by Mr. Kirankumar.S Math, Junior simulation Engineer.

A two day seminar on PLCSCADA was held on 8th and 9th September 2013.

The SEE successfully conducted the Interdepartmental symposium DYKES 13 on 21st September 2013.

Our second year students visited Indian Space Research Organization, Trivandrum on 1st October 2013.On 3rd September 2013 the third year EEE students visited National Technical Science Park, Bangalore.Our final year students visited SIBC industry on 30th September 2013, substation and windmill on 30th September 2013 they undergone their all India tour from 17th January 2014 to 31st January 2014.

With the combined effort of our SEE president, faculty advisor,staff members, students and above all with God’s grace we have travelled a successful journey in the year 2013-14.

I wish that this association must continue with the legacy strive for excellence in all avenues and attain a star in status.
