Dear Students and Parents,
Welcome to History! During the coming year, we will study about the people, places and events that shaped the history of America. We have planned an exciting program for you, and we are anxious to begin. Please look carefully at the units of study and what is expected of you in the outline. Our goal is for you to pass the course and the Regents exam. We will do all that we can to make both a reality. We look forward to working with you this year.

Projects 25%
Participation10%
Tests (& Midterm) 40%
The Regents Exam is worth a quarter grade.

You will need:
Black/blue ink pens & pencils
3-ring binder
Loose-leaf paper
Box of tissue (optional)
