This document describes How to Use the MTK SmartPhone Download Tool, user-friendly, please read this user manual.

3. Install Driver
For the first time to use the download tool, computer will need to install the USB driver, the mobile phone using USB connected to the PC, hold down the USB download trigger (or short circuit USB download triggering pin), then the computer will prompt “found new hardware”, according to new hardware installation guide, install the USB driver

4. Hot to Use Download Tools
4.1 Loading Software
Select the Scatter file, automatic loading software package
4.2 Set Download Mode

4.3 Select Download Port
In the mainform, click menu will open device manager, The mobile phone to use USB to connect to PC USB, click the download button (or trigger short USB download triggering pin, general black lines and white line short circuit),
In device manager dialog can see effective virtual port, see Device Manager Dialog. Display a valid port , The tools of the corresponding COM Port.

If there is no corresponding serial port, Please close the software, ，Open with Notepad SPMultiPortFlashDownloadProject.ini File, Find [Ports] line，Channel0=3, 3 is the corresponding serial port number.
For example, modified with COM34, Write with Channel0=34
Between Channel0 – Channel15 can be modified.

4.4. Start Download
Click the Start or Start All button, The mobile phone using an USB connection PC to download status

When choosing a "Format And Download All" way to download, if it is the first time to use PC, it will prompt the found new hardware (as shown in the picture below), this time by first driver installation method, select the Driver USB VCOM Driver (binary) installation, Done.

5. LOG File
Download tools will be automatically generated LOG files at C:¥, Used to record the download process of the implementation of action, To analyze the problem is very helpful, LOG file is not automatically removed;when the download after long time running, the generated LOG document will be more and more, then you can click on the mainform "ClrLogs" button, manual removal of Log file

The tools of The Fireware Upgrade mode upgrade download, only Save the calibration data，With: Test calibration data¥SN¥IMEI¥...
With Out：ContactBook¥SMSMessage¥Installed Programs¥Background¥Disktop¥User Data¥...
Please Service Center before upgrading, fully understand!
If necessary, please backup all data!
8. Checksum Error
Click on the Start to start the download, may have the following tips:
Please Copy the Tools Directory CheckSum_Generate.exe File to Software Directory.
Run CheckSum_Genrate.exe Program File.
After Success, Generated Checksum.ini, Then restart the download.
