3.1 / Integrated Health Promotion Evaluation & Reporting: Update
D Mitchell provided an update on the Department of Health (DH) Integrated Health Promotion Evaluation & Reporting. Evaluation plans and program logic models were submitted by DH funded agencies at the end of February. DH Head Office is in the process of engaging a consultant to review the evaluation plans based on a set criteria and to provide a state wide and region reports. One of the purposes for the review is to identify agency capacity building needs. The DH Gippsland regional office is currently conducting a review of the evaluation plans and will compare the review against the state wide review. Agencies were also required to complete a Continuous Quality Improvement tool. Feedback will be provided to individual agencies.
R Dooley reported that evaluation plans were submitted for the third objective under nutrition (Smiles 4 Miles & KGFYL) and for the first objective under mental health and wellbeing (FHL).
