Classroom Policies
Red Home Folder – will be used to send home any important information and /or tests. Please be sure your child has his/her folder with them daily and you will want to check in the folder each night.
Agenda/Homework Book – are a great way to maintain daily contact between school and home. Please check the agenda every night for homework assignments and any notes from your child’s teachers.
Interims/Report Cards – Interims will be sent home in the middle of the marking period. Report cards will be issued four times a year. These will inform you of your child’s progress. Both of these will require your signature.
Conferences – will be scheduled throughout the school year. However, we are available for conferences as needed.

Homework will be checked daily. It must be done to receive credit for the assignment. Late assignments will not receive full credit. Parent/guardian should monitor homework daily through the student agenda.

Welcome to the fifth grade!
This is your child’s first year in the Middle School, and it will be a time of many transitions and changes. Our fifth grade program is designed to promote responsibility and respect for self and others in a safe and positive atmosphere. We have your child’s best interest in mind.
