Treasurer’s Report – Amy Grundtner

·  Reports on page 2-3

·  Expenditure Requests: None

·  Discussed Friday Folders and the need to make sure we know if any grade level will not need them so the right number can be ordered. Kathy took this action item.

Site Council Update – Kelly Border and Michelle Koch

·  Student Leadership Council – Getting to know you event, Earth Day will be celebrated a week early due to testing.

·  Staff appreciation week is coming and a breakfast is planned.

·  Staff Development discussed.

·  Brainstormed on events and fundraising, including number of events, the Stroll, types of events.

·  Site Council Parent, Para, and Teacher Reps are all open positions for next year.

·  March Family Movie Night – Kelly

o  74 kids attended and an uncounted number of adults

o  Would want to have it in a larger space to accommodate more blankets and families next year.

·  April Family Fun Night – Tina Kraby

o  We are doing well, but more volunteers are needed.

o  Planning is going well overall, one more meeting scheduled.

·  Staff Appreciation week is May 4-8 – Kris

o  Planning is underway.

o  Emails will go out to ask volunteers to bring food, desserts, etc. soon.

Other Information

We are looking for a parent representative for a two-year term on Site Council. Kelly Border has done a super job and has completed her term. The application window is April 1-17. Applications are available tonight, as well as in the CTE lobby and should be submitted to Ms. Kaiser no later than 4 pm on 4/17.

I don’t say it often enough, but thank you SO much to Kris Cardille, Amy Grundtner, and ALL of our other fantastic CEPO members who will not be participating in CEPO on a regular basis next year.

You all have given generously of your time, wallets, and hearts for our students and our school.

·  Country Hearth UPCs can be turned in when 1,000 have been collected.

·  The December check from Box Tops will include $1250.00 from the last spring submission. This amount falls under the 2014-2015 school year.

·  The winning classroom for March is Mrs. Alonzi’s 3rd grade class. They collected 471 items!
